Can anyone direct me to a link where the bombing technique for the A-20 would be explained?

I see the AI doing some shallow dive bombing with it, but I find it myself particularly difficult because of the lack of sight like the B-25 and it is not accurate to use it in vertical dives (not to mention it has this unfortunate tendency ot disintegrate the aircraft*L*)

Anyone uses the A-20 regularly in here?

Set the bomb delay to about 2 seconds. I ue a shallow dive, but I get VERY close to the target and drop the bomb on the target. This way you can get in close, drop the bombs close, and get out before the boom. Works every time.

skip bombing for ships is a method that is very effective once learned...my hit ratio is over 90%...the downside is braving the AAA. I get hammered everytime and sometimes pk'd

Set a bomb delay. I prefer 3.0 seconds.

Then, fly low into the target...preferably sighting the target from a few KM's away and then descending from say 1000 meters or higher to the target. A shallow dive, at which point you drop the bombs at the last moment and pull out. The delay timer lets you get away before the bombs explode.

Yep, what they said. Just like bombing in a P-47, Corsair, etc. After a little pratice you'll be able to hit you target almost everytime. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

IRL a Havoc with a glass nose was used and all aircraft would drop on the bombardiers command.

For now low level attacks are the only option.

Get about, oohh I'd say 500 -1km away from youre target, close as possible, at bout 1000metres. Then dive, dive, dive! By the time you get within skip-bombing distance of the ship, youre speed should be up to 600km/h approx. With a bomb timing on 1 second or more, whatever you want, you can ZOOM by when you drop the bombs, so by the time they explode, youre WAY out of danger, and at that speed, usually youre able to not receive as much AAA as if oyu were going at a lower speed.

Guys,

I wanted to practice your techniques explained above, but I cannot seem to find the control to set a bomb delay.

I've looked at all the commands that can be mapped, and it doesn'T seem to be in there... anyone?

It handles like a huge fighter so its not difficult to use it like a fighter bomber.
