Hello All,

I'm sort of new to this, and have had hard time figuring some stuff out. I want to practice taking off and landing, but can't figure out where to do this. When I try the Quick Mission setup it always starts me in the air even though I have enabled the takeoff and landing button on the difficulty page. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Inky

Do you use Hyperlobby? I will put up a server for you...or anyone...who just wants to practice. Look for my name.

I will password it......practice.

Happy Practicing. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif This is in 4.071.
If you need a different version, let me know. I can host all Il-2 games and versions.

Greetings,

I haven't a clue what you're talking about. Hyperlobby? Is this on a server? I just want to practice off-line.

Thanks

just start a multiplayer mission offline, there you can choose a base and practice taking off and landing al you want http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

www.hyperfighter.sk (http://www.hyperfighter.sk)

It is a lobby where you can see all of us playing online, and all of the current servers online. You can join us from there.

I haven't really played single player much. You could do a campaign, and just use the runways to practice on.

Others in here will pitch in some better advice.

At the splash screen go to Multiplay\Create a Server, choose Dogfight from the drop down menu. Then pick a folder from the drop down menu on the next screen. Then pick yourself a map\mission and load it up. Once loaded, put your cursor over a base and left click it to choose your base. Go the Difficulty section make sure Take-Off\Landing has been enabled. Then go into the Arming screen and choose your bird. Then hit Fly & have at it!
