Hello
Please can anyone tell me what are il2 fb command line argument to pass to the exe file?
I'd like to run my il2 to let it connect to an ip address with a specific password passing those information by command line. Is that possible and how?
Thanks all

0 EXECUTEABLE
1 IP
2 -name
3 Mr.JohnDoe

Numbers = Space

I dont know if you can pass the password but it was indeed very simple to find out these params.

Write a simple console app that writes out it's command line params used as arguments.

Replace Il2 exe with it and join with hl then you can check output file and read params .

If it works with password you can find out joining a passworded game and check params but too busy with other things to check.

actually you could make il-2 start on click of a hyperlink in your browser if you register a new protocol in windows (a simple registry entry). so you open a web page in your browser click the hyperlink il2fb:server or il2fb://server?player=name&password=pass and voila!

i wonder why none of the online wars tried to implement it...
