Yet another one...
Don't you know the new rules? You can't post requests of updates or status of the "patch".
CrazyIvan will lock this thread.

Give this one a break, he/she must somehow live down Salter Street Film's LEXX.

You guys are easy to please.

My customers would be saying "Adios" if I left them for a month without any updates to software I sold them.

Oh well ...

BTW ... new rules?

I keep logging on briefly every day waiting to see some new info on the Main Web Page for Updates. Then sign out ...

... I'm sure many others do the same ... surprising there's anybody posting here at all anymore ...

Do we hear "Lock-On" Forum? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif

That's usually applied for customers who are planning on purchasing a new or improved product. One you pay extra for because of updates.

The patch can and MAY take a while I don't know. But to EXPECT an update, and compare NOT getting an update to POOR customer relationships........ BAAAAAAAH!

You gurs make me laugh.

Oh, and I KNOW you'll be in line to buy BoB, and you'll be in the que to get the patch. Stop whining like you're entitled to something.

You paid your $40.00 and got what you payed for. A dam fine Flight Sim.

The amount of work being put into a patch FOR free is staggering. And, you wanna camplain ubout no update.....

IBTL.

Not quite! I somehow feel cheated on PF - the game didn't quite deliver. Without FB-AEP merged install it's a poor product, full of missing bits and pieces. Like buying a car without the fourth wheel.

1. I've paid a hell of alot more than $40. I've bought the original IL2, FB then AEP ... I think I tossed enough $$$ Oleg's way to EARN the right to whine. It would be different if I was a troll who never spent a dime on this Sim and was just stirring up ****.

I dont know how long YOU have been around .. but there have been some serious screwups with this Sim from the start and during all the additions that we did PAY for ....

2. I agree. One of the best Sims on the market. Yes I'll download the patch when it comes ... I'll probably buy BOB when its released, I never said I wasnt.

3. I never once mentioned the PATCH ... yet everyone here assumes that's the update Im looking for .. but then again.

If you vote and dont like the government, you have the right to ***** ...

I think that all the financial support Ive given this baby from the start ... Ive earned the right to complain a bit too .... just my 2 nickles http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

h009291,

I've been around through IL2/FB/EAP/PF too.
And, I'm sure you know that when the company you work for has nothing to give or show for updates they don't release anything. It's not bad customer relations.

It's developement time. Things aren't ready to be shown...or whats being worked on cant be adequately displayed by an update.

I just didn't really see the necessity to equate lack of developement updates to bad customer relations. You've got over 5000 posts, so you know how this works. Oleg and company have been pretty forthcoming in details to the forum. Updates will come out.... they always do.

I have the combined IL2 series and don't think PF is all that bad. With missions developed by many talented creators it's pretty good.

Whining about no updates is like whining to the weatherman about lack of snow. If the conditions aren't right it ain't gonna happen.

regards,
Robert
