hi guyz.

in the sys requirements of Myst4, they says pharelia is ok.

has anyone tried to run M4 on a matrox P650 video card? it should have a very similar gpu...

thanks in advance

I have a Matrox P650 in my machine, and Myst4 ran just fine. The only problem I had is that the sound lags the video slightly, but others have seen that problem with other configurations. I doubt that the P650 is the cause of the problem.

Note that the P650 (and P750 for that matter) are not as fast as the Parhelia gpu, although they use the same driver. But the P650 ran Uru just fine, at fairly high quality settings, which is even more taxing than running Myst4.

I am running on latest video drivers and video bios. It might not make a difference for Myst4, but it definitely helped when running Uru.

What about P550? Someone dared to try this one so far? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

There is no such card as a P550. You must be talking about the G550. That is a much older card which is not based on the Parhelia design. I highly doubt it will work.
