Realism buffs at last have a way to build a throttle quadrant with many things that they may already have

When I first look at it, I start said "oh child stuff" then see captions on it explain it's functions. I drop my jaw but thank for great informtion. I will take a look into. It sure will make more easy on our job!

Love it! I loved the efffort not to hard-build anything, so as to stay true to 'the spirit of lego'! Hurrah!

And that is the first thing that I have seen that comes close to the way a typical WW2 trim wheel operated.

I just might be able to get my little brother into flightsims this way /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye
shall be judged: and with what
measure ye mete, it shall be
measured to you again.

At first I laughed too, and I posted this is a semi-joke, but after looking at it closely I came to conclude that this is actually one of the best quadrants I have seen as far as real world general aviation functionality goes, most mixture and prop levers dont twist and in flight this is the way the mixture and prop are adjusted in many/most makes of aircraft. I am not sure that I could dig teh looks of a box of legos on my desk. . but maybe with some paint. . . or all black .. hmm. . .

I do use X-plane, I actually use pretty much every GA sim out there, the Jane's sims, and I have a couple nice CFS style oversized coasters. ;-)
