we all know we can pickpocket we all know we can ears drop on doors

and we all surtenley know we don't know every thing...

i wan't to bring up the most known way to assassinate ever...

posion... can you do it? will it add or decrease to gameplay?

should it be in a surten matter?

i belive it should be and the more ways to do it the better (in food in drink and how... by droping a drop of posion when hanging from the ceeling if possible or a 1190 kitchen that you would be able to drop it in or even go to a surten some one in town to buy the stuff would be interesting and how will you do it with out revealing the plot against said target?)

do tell what you think...

p.s. feels silly opening another thread for another question again what kind of codes/cheats in the game should there be do you think?

I really don't think that there should be poison in the game. It's not a stealth game. It's Action/Adventure. The point is to kill your target in a public area and so everyone knows that it was the Hashshashin.

They never said anything about poison in an interview, so I don't think it will be in the game, atleast I hope they don't put it in.

The Hashashin in real life never used poison because they didnt want the victim to somehow survive

The Hashashin weren't subtle killers. It would be far more useful to kill a person in public with as many witnesses as possible seeing the KILL and the KILLER, so that the whole city would know. Using a poison or a long ranged attack would NOT reveal the KILLER and thus noone would know the Hashashin clan was responsible. I think wikipedia says that the clan manipulated leaders of the factions because they were very afraid of the assasins. And also back then there was something called honor. It wasn't very honorable to shoot someone in the back with a poisoned crossbow bolt. Nowadays people use guns to kill each others, from long range. Altair won't use poison. It says that on the official German Assassins Creed website.

That means: Does Altair use poison to kill his targets?
No, thats not the way of the Assassins. In the past they had to kill their enemies from face to face and in front of a lot of people. For many reasons (including gameplay)we didn't want to enable that Altair can kill unnoticed.

I like this decision.
