Mine go to the main SH3 dir. They are BMP's about 2.5MB each!!! So Photo Shop comes handy before I upload anything.

Mine go to the main SH3 dir.

That's the same for everyone - the screenshot get saved into the same directory as the game itself, which is usually located at:

C:\Program Files\SilentHunterIII

And if you want to get rid of the dials etc it's usually best to pause the game and then press keypad ".", the one with Del written on it.

If you are in External Cam mode you can then zoom in and out and move up and down etc to your hearts content to compose the perfect screenshot - and if you are brave enough you could join in on fun with the Monthly Screenshot Competition, but be quick this month's competition ends at 23:59 GMT on the 18th!

Here's the link, which is also a sticky by the way;

For those who are interested, you may want to try FRAPS. FRAPS (http://www.fraps.com/download.ph)

Fraps lets you take SCREENIES, and video while playing SH3 or any other program. Also, you choose which folder to send photo/video clip. You also get to choose your own HOTKEY for each of them. I chose 0 for pic, and - for video. to male movie, you can use Windows Movie Maker, and upload to places like Photbucket or YouTube(thanks to Celeon for introducing that wonderful site).

Most of all, it is VERY SIMPLE to use.

Give'er a shot http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/typing.gif
