when I install, everything is fine. When I play, there are NO WORDS in ANY menu!! like, when I create my profile for the first time, a wheel (with Letters?) flashes onscreen, dissapears, and there Is NOTHING but Background!!!!!!!! I can type in my name and hit enter, and then It says "are you sure to save?" but until then there is nothing. also, the in-game menus are GONE, they don't even flash, they just aren't there. i can hit escape and down and It says "are you sure to quit?" but that's it.. In the Options screen, I have 2 options, soundup and contrast up/down. But there are no WORDS!!!!!!!!!

I have the same problem, and I reported this to Ubi Soft support, and their answer was to check this community and the manual for the answers. It is listed under general gameplay they informed me. I looked, but I did not find it. I hope that someone, can find an answer to this problem, because the support people were usless.

Can you give us information regarding what system you're playing this on and such?

My son is having the same problem, running the PC version. The machine is a bog standard home PC from Dell. Attached are a European keyboard, two generic USB Game Controllers from Game.
When we press Enter to start the game, the screen where you set your name flashes by, as if the Enter key had generated two messages.

What do you mean by "bog standard home PC from Dell"? What kind of Windows platform are you running this on?
And did you try contacting Technical Support, via the stickied thread at the top of the forum?

And there have been no other issues with the installation process?

Are there other high graphic computer games on this computer? And have those games been working correctly?

Does it list and error messge? If you are getting an error message of some kind, if you can write that down please it will make it easier for us to help out.

Problems with games can be any number of things.

1) Turn off Norton/Mcafee Virus programs. They can cause problems with some games.

2) Update to the latest Direct X. It may be worth doing this even if the PC had it installed.

3)Update the graphics card drivers.

4) Uninstall and reinstall the game just to make sure.

If you have any questions in regard how to do the above things, just post here and we will help out.

Laptops tend to have more issues since the manufacturers usually customize the video drivers for that specific card and interface. Have you checked for updated drivers on the laptop manufacturer's website?

I bought the game from eBay after installing the game I found the problem with the menu. The guy I bought it from refused to take it back. First I thought there is a problem with my system after reading this thread I realized game has the problem.
I already updated my video card drivers.

Unfortunately, the menus have been an issue for awhile... but we have a possible solution. Apparently, the game Chessmaster had a similar problem. It was corrected by the following method:

There is a similar issue in Chessmaster... if the DPI is set to large size (120 DPI), menus won't display. Could this be what's happening with TMNT?

Here's how the problem is corrected with Chessmaster...

1. Go into the Control Panel
2. Select Display.
3. Select the Settings tab.
4. Click the 'Advanced' button.
5. Under the General tab, change the DPI setting to Normal size (96 DPI).

I do not know if this will work with TMNT, so if someone could try it and let the public know, it would be the most helpful.

Thank you for your patience.
