A simple question but I sadly expect little to no answers. Does anyone have any additional info of whatever sort about the little sister of the Fw 200 the Fw 206? I found her in the Luftfahrt International No. 25 but nowhere else on the I-Net.

Apparently it was never completed.

I'm well aware of it never been build. Btw, as that side doesn't have any additional info and is merely a transcript of the article in the magazine I revered to I said that there was no info on the net. But as the plans have been completed up to 95%, and the assembly line put up in france, there is always hope someone could get his hands on them http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Hi Zorin,

hmmm, 66 views and only 1 response.

Don't take this the wrong way but it seems you are either having a bad day or English is not your native language. Your second post is seemingly sarcastic which might explain why you are getting almost no replies.

Just a "heads-up", that's all.

BTW, I'm curious too, I hadn't heard of this plane.

You are quite right Fritz, English isn't my naitive tongue, hence why I may sound sarcastic, which wasn't my intention at all.

Here is a part of the plans which were shown in the magazine:

Interesting, are you planning to build a model or are you into collecting plans?

Looks like it would have been a winner.

Building a 3D model, yes.

Being around the size of a DC-3 it beat it for speed and power(using the BMW 800 or 801), especially when flying with a single engine only. While being a Euroliner, it didn't have the range of a DC-3. Around 2000km maximum.

Hi Zorin,

I found this:

http://www.pkuer.net/wmkj/study2/Model/6/1/1/5.htm

The site is Chinese. I cannot read Chinese and none of my Chinese buddies are online right now.

I don't know if it helps but the 206 is mentioned on the site.

What a cute kite!
I just love the slender lines of those grand Focke-Wulfs. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/heart.gif
