I have tried to order order this game since
15 December from Ubisoft shopping U.K.

Two attempts.Two failures.
Paid with my Visa card on both attempts.
Credit card authorisationn was good in both attempts.Credit card has over $1 Grand on the account!

The order status indicates that shipment is pending,as well as payment!

Huh!Whaaaat!

So WTF!I have canceled both orders!

Does anyone know Wo Zum Teufel(where in hell) in Germany(Mannheim area) I can
get the English version of this game, and just
pay cash for it?

Frustraded to the max....

If you can get a disk do so... There are several venues... Google is your friend.

I have seen copys of 1946 in several warehouses (Karstadt etc) or Saturn/Media Markt on the Software Pyramid (kind of pyramid like stack with Jewel Cases) for 10 Euros

The English and the German version are essentially the same. Afaik, you only need to set a certain line in the config.ini to en instead of de. I'm sure someone can fill you in at the details.
