Just for your information ubisoft.com/us is now taking preorders for Myst V limited edition on their website. The price is $59.99 with free shipping. I believe it says for PC. It includeds a 22 min video, original soundtrack, collector piece, and strategy guide.

I hope they do this for the UK too.

Finally...seems like the US never gets all the special goodies. I know w/ Revelation we missed out on some collector things. Good looking gnorke.

They're also taking pre-orders for the M5 calendar.

Remember that this is a hybrid disc format game, so you can also pre-order if you're on a Mac.

Needing to update my payment info for the pre-order, I called them today. In passing, the shipping date was still aiming to be Sept. 20, with two-day free FedEx shipping. Yay!

Well I've been checking Ubi's UK website (and had a look at Ubi's French website) and they're not taking pre-orders for either version of Myst V - the LE is not listed, nor is the calendar. But Amazon UK, Play.com and sendit.com have a Myst V CE listed without a box picture or details so no way of checking if it's the LE as listed for the States.

So I don't know if I should order from the States and get it sent to my friend in texas to send on to me or wait a while and see if the CE advertised here is the same edition. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v177/PicturePooling/smileys/dont-know_pp.gif

Standard and CE editions are now available in Ubi's European store. Please note, the standard edition in Europe is hybrid-DVD, so Mac users can pre-order either version. It appears that only the US is having to deal with the CD-only standard release problem.

It should also be noted that I think the European CE goodies are very, very cool, and I want a box! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Likewise, so I said "to heck with the shipping costs" and put in my first international order. (I also have a U.S. preorder that I put in last week. Can you say "obsessed"?)

But, how will they know which language edition I want? I know all the languages are already on the DVD, but I don't want to try reading the D'ni Dictionary or the Book of Marrim excerpt in French! My French is only high-school level, and that was long ago. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
