I cant get it to work. I download r.click save as. I have tried running from the self extractor thing and extracting the content onto my desktop. Both times I get a memory could not be referenced error. I can so a print screen of my desktop if you would like.

Redneckonyour6, don't use your desktop. Once you download the file create a folder for it on your hard drive, unzip the file, then run the 'setup.exe' from there. If that doesn't work, just extract the .cab file into the directory you created.

Seems to be working now. I extracted it all to a folder. Got the memory reference thing again. But I just clicked on the icon with the airplane on it in the support folder and all seems to be working well. Thanks for this program bud.

Hardball, if I want just the planes from IL2/FB/AEP which would you suggest? Is there an earlier version that would be easier to use, vs. sorting through all the PF aircraft? TIA!

not to hijack Hardballs program( I like it) but IL2 Wingman has filters to sort the aircraft but hasnt been updated with the new planes and cant do compares IIRC but I like the filters in it alot

swambast, I think Netwings is still hosting the FB/AEP version. Check it out. The later versions have better pictures and a few extra features like ordnance description and a 'flyable' indicator.

By the way, the program has an 'autofill' option. Just type the first couple of letters of the aircraft you want, and the program will whizz to that section.

xTHRUDx: I address that issue in the ReadMe, namely:

Added data for P-38L 'Late' and P-47D 1944 (i.e. 'Late') versions. I did not include them as separate aircraft in the viewer because the consensus seems to be that they were identical to existing models except for their boosted engines. Therefore you can see the extra data pop up in a control-tip if you hover your mouse over the relevant text boxes.
