There sure are som very small FM changes in 4.07 especially when it comes to stability.
Once thing that has changes drastically tho, at least for me, is the recoil but only when firing the 0.50s. Now the planes are stable but the force feedback is much stronger when firing and so affects my aiming quite a bit! It feels like firing a couple of 30mm rounds. The same type of effect on my MS sidewinder FF joystick. This isnt the case in 4.05 and I have flown mainly the p51 lately so the difference is quite huge for me! Any idea how I can modify the FF for only the gun recoil, but keep the stall buffeting etc etc as they are???
Maybe in the conf.ini file?
There is one folder called Force feedback but when i open the files inside they dont make any sense!
any ideas guys??

Move/Rename/Remove the file called 'machinegun.ffe' in that forcefeedback folder, effect will be gone.
There's also a utility called 'fedit.exe', I have it, but can't make any sense of how to operate it, and how to change effects in a sensible way...

(Note: I do not use a MS FFB, but some other FFB stick)
Good Luck!<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

IL2-Sticks (http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&file=details&id=332) might come in handy, IL2 Joy Control (By Oleg_BS) (http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&file=details&id=1021) can even be more usefull!)

That does not work now. Not only does machinegun.ffe cause your stick to shake when firing, but the shake.ffe does as well in 4.07.
But shake.ffe also is the effect for stall buffets, so removing it will remove your stall warnings.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Thanks for the info!
(Yeah, I should do some more testing and not assume things have not been changed I guess.... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif)
