Hi all,

Very sad situation when it is not possible at this stage to trace family members http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Thanks to the Italian guys for finding the crash site http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Best Regards,

Hi,

.... And over a year on, Desmond Ibbotson is finally laid to rest in a cemetary close to the crash site :

This is from The Daily Express 09.Jun.07 (Not my paper, found it at work on my coffee break!!!)

Flight Lieutenant Ibbotson sounds like a remarkable man. May he rest in peace, at last.

Regards.

Just my own personal view, but it pleases me when these 'lost' warriors (of any nation), are found and given the burials and respect that they earned. I hope many more will one day be given a known grave, where family and so on can pay their respects.
