In association with the Trustees of the Clarence 'Kelly' Johnson Memorial in Michigan we bring you our second major contest of 2006. The top 6 pictures will be on permanent display at the memorial and along the way will be judged by the following professional Aviation Artists:

Other Artists may join this list at a later date.

Not only do you have the chance to have your work on permanent display, the top 6 pictures will be printed and given away to donors to the memorial.

2nd - F-104 Starfighter from Captain Sim (http://www.captainsim.com/)

The contest starts May 6th 2006 and will close July 6th 2006 Midnight GMT.

Sawyer International Airport is located near the City of Marquette, Upper Penninsula, Michigan at the site of former KI Sawyer AFB on the southern shore of Lake Superior.

The memorial is located near the main entrance and every visitor to the airport passes the memorial. Sawyer serviced over 115,543 passengers in 2005.

Wow, I used to live at/on K.I. Sawyer (over on Albatross). What a great place! But you better like snow...
