I'd like to copy and paste a few variations into my conf.ini file to try other users settings, and see if I'm missing out.

Currently I can get a very twitchy instant motion setting, or a slow input, not too drastic setting, but would like to try some other users joystick input settings.

So, with the quation posted, can any other users please post just the [rts_joystick] settings in their conf.ini here please?

Try this, works for most X52 users. Set Pitch and Roll for all 100%. That should do the trick. Also if you put trim on the throttle rotaries then get il2sticks or il2joycontrol to set the curve for those axis as well as they are way too sensitive by default.

Agree 100%

This is exactly what I do, and it works like a charm. 100% on Pitch, roll, and my rudder as well, elevator trim on the big rotary and rudder trim on the smaller one, both set with a curve. After a short breaking in period, you will love it.

Hi MysticPuma, same for me. I'm using the X52 Pro and Saitek pedals and i too have pitch and roll all sliders at 100. My pedals are linear from 90 to 100 amd using IL2 joycontrol have reduced the rotaries right down in a shallow curve as they are way way too sensitive.

Was gutted when i first used the stick as i couldnt fly at all on my old cyborg evo settings, which were virtually default. Was advised to go all 100 and works like a charm now.

Hi, what I was actually hoping was that X-52 users could just copy and paste that section from their conf.ini into this thread, and then I could copy and paste it into my conf.ini.

No manual setting needed, just a simple copy and paste?

Doesn't that get really twitchy? I had mine set from 50-100 linear and yesterday when I was trying to fly a P-38J I couldn't get the plane level because I kept overshooting with aileron inputs.

I still need to find good control settings too apparently.

I have elevator trim on the large throttle rotary and prop pitch on the small rotary.

Elevator trim is on the large wheel on the throttle and rudder trim on the small one; prop pitch is on the slider.

I have my elevator max output set somewhat low, to 70, which is still adequate but planes like the P 51 and such are much easier to fly, no overcontrolling and stall-spin anymore. I didn't spin in ages unintentionally, even in the 51.

I find that with the long throw the X52 has that 100% is perfect, you just have to learn not to hamfist the stick as far as it will go unless you really need to. All 100% just seems to give it a very smooth reaction all the way through it's motion and due to the long throw it's not oo sensitive.

Mysticpuma, the reason I didn't post my conf.ini section it because I have two sticks and pedals hooked up so my conf.ini section would have done you no good, ID's would have been different.

but could some of the P-47 Drivers post thier as well. I'm wondering if new stick settings might help a little.
I'm flying with an X-45 throttle & a wingman extream stick (non FFB).

I dont have a X-52 anymore but when I did I got the best results by using 100 across the board for roll and elevator.
