I was haveing problems with it not moveing as far as I liked after edditing, so I made this rig to get it cloaser to my head.
It hooks into the heat vents at the top back of flat panel.
Dont have to move my head as much now.
Keeps it away from the hot air from the flat panel too.

Couldn't you have just, like, tweaked the settings in the TrackIR software?<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Did that but I was still to far away.
Should be around 24 inches away for good responce.
With this rig I'm in range now, and dont have to move my head as much.
With glasses, it was a pain befor, and hard to see with head turned that far.

Ruffly 32 inches from the flat panel.
Screen is about 8 inches from the desk edge, and with the keyboard tray pulled out, and joy stick in my lap on a cutting board puts me that far back.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Wouldn't it have been easier to put it behind your chair and reverse the axis'?<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

i find that editing all the axis in the TIR settings to "aggressive" enables you to use very little head movement. that way you dont have to move your head far at all. set smoothness to 30.

The art work is from the 2nd Hot Wheels Nationals in Reston Virginia.
It was the 10th Anniversary of Philep Riehlman.
He was the desingner of the VW Drag Bus for Hot Wheels when it came out as a 1st eddition back in 1996.
They used that casting to celebrate his 10 years with Mattel.
As you can tell by the 2 cars at the bottom of my post I like to collect hot wheels.
I'm really into Red Lines right now
