Is it only 1.2B not running? If so...make sure your clock settings are correct. I had the same problem, and it was because my date was set to December.

Have you posted this in the Tech Forum?

Install the newest DirectX (if not installed).

Did you move from an nVidia card? Anyway, did you remove old drivers and hardware FIRST before installing your new vid card?

DL and run RegClean. Back up your registry first, and learn how to restore your registry from command prompts. (Learning to restore is not very hard. Do a Google.)

ASIDE: Something people can/should do for Win OS's is to also install the Recovery Console to help get you out of sticky situations if you mess up while playing with you comp. (Or, have an 'original' Ghost (or some such) copy, and a recently 'updated' Ghost copy.)

From the \Start\Run window, installing the Windows Recovery Console to an existing Windows installation:
Run: <CD-ROM> :\i386\winnt32.exe /CmdCons
(Normally.)
(You need your OS install disk.)

Post back with more info that you think is pertinent if you want, and/or ask a mod to move this to the Tech Forum.

EDIT: Remember, for many Win OS's, you should also have the option to BOOT from the 'Last Known Good' to hopefully get you running again if a problem occurs.

Update - after re-installing the game 1.2 worked.
