Is there a chance that someone will make a real russian bomber flyable, TB3 is not competitive, and too rumbling to actually have enough fun in it.

>>> Tu2 <<< ? Pe2 [even this one) Pe8 [few but still)

yeah, im hoping for them also sb tu pes, they would make the online and offline experience so much better. Bring out new tournements 4 allied bombers [lights/mids/or heavies]6 escorts vs 4 axis [lights/mids/or heavies] having to defend instead of dredded ai that will never be as good as real players

Yep! Without flyable Pe~2, this isn't an Eastern Front sim yet. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Beyond that, I want Tu~2 and the sexy German twins like Do~217 and Ju~188.

Apparently the Pe-8 will never be flyable, there are no remaining records of what the cockpit looked like or something.

More twins in general would be good.

1) No cockpit details
2) No FM details have been kept by the manufacturer

A flyable PE8 wouold be pure fantasy with any connection to the real PE8 being sheer good luck and guesswork

Personally im drooling at the thought of Pe-2's, TU-2's, and most of all, the IL-4! man i love that IL-4..

I can live with the lack of Pe-8's, though it is a shame.

Are anyone working on cockpits for any of thease?

Totally agree, the TB-3 is totally rubbish - oh and guess what were getting in the patch!!! Another TB-3!!! Oh joy!

Still, not complaining mind, the more planes the merrier.

Cool - now we can make some TB3-only servers! - could make some weird dogfights going 120 km/h with 10 gunners zapping at eachother.

Anyways: a Pe2 or 3 or even the IL4 would be a nice thing in the game. About the cockpits - I think there´s a Pe2 in Poland if I´m not wrong.

According to Il2Center the Pe2/3, IL4 and SB bombers are reserved by the man himself (Oleg for newbs)!

That should make for some good models and not abandoned projects.

Looking forward to them. Go Twins!

Oh Wretchfest Maximus. TB~3 gives more reason to extend FB back into the 1930s, not just the 1950s. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

P11c intercepts of TB3 if fun on both sides.

Oh dam, that gives me an idea, THNX.

P11...

Actually, the TB3 is great fun to fly, the open cockpit and gunstations are great and the primitive bombsight is a lot easier to use than the He 111's. And, yes, you usually get shot down. It's very true, however, that the TB3 is not a good example of a WW2 bomber. In this regard, the Pe-2 or Il-4 would be much better.

I have to agree we really need to bring out the twins. As far as types go Im not too fussy, big twins, small twins it does not really matter.

Oh yeah one more thing. As I am looking forward to seeing these in IL2 I will be sure to milk them for all they are worth.

Actually, I figure FB will soon be finished for good. One more patch. A free addon and thats it. Oleg is off to make more money $$$$

What about the 3rd Party modellers still in very early development of their projects? I would hope Oleg expands FB to more parts of WW2 and even a little before, and improves it while doing so, without sacrificing current ability to sim current aircraft.

theres actually enough info on the pe2 and 3 all gauge placements cockpit walls seat trottle trim, only prob is they are drawing with positioning not real pictures with the gauges writing thats whats stopping people, makes no sence someone cant copy the design of the russian fighter gauges, see the gauges in the he111 and traslate them in russian. DOnt matter to me at all since its not exact russian writing or gauges might be in different places as long it it looks reasonable.
