I am almost certain multiplayer is going to help SH3 sales. For example i have a lan party at least once per week at home. Some of the friends that come never had any experience with sub sims. But i lured them putting them to play Destroyer Command while i has hunting tre merchants in the convoy they were protecting.Eventually most of them showed interest in SH2.Some of them had never played a flight sim.Offering them gunner positions in IL-2 Sturmovik they start to learn and love to fly aircrafts. Most of them now fly as pilots.Even my wife pilots (mostly as my wingman).Though it costed me money( i had to buy her a joystick LOL...we are now many more than just me fluing planes and commanding subs.Maybe in SH3 coop mode if someone else can man the deck gun or the aa guns i mean someone less experienced in commanding subs that would bring a lot more people try SH3.THAT MEANS SALES.THAT MEANS POSSIBLY DC2.THAT MEANS WHEN DEVTEAM PREPARES PACIFIC CAMPAIGN OR SH4 WILL GET FULL SUPPORT FROM UBISOFT.

I dont game unless it has multiplayer. In single player there is no one impress. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Nothing better than close you with a couple of friends in a little room, with 3 computers playing SH3 in the same sub, manning diferent stations, including sonar in manual mode and so on, making your food with a gas cook and eating prepared food, having to sleep in the ground and be alert.
This, of course, on a multiplayer session where there would be other subs, and of course to play in 1x time compression all the time. REal experience of the life in a sub, http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/mockface.gif
Well, at least an experience to remember.
