I'm curious. How many of you use Lowengrin's DCG?

I must confess that all the info i needed to peruse for DCG made my head swim

It was very complicated sounding, and I didn't have the spare time. The download was a killer on my dial-up, too

Scripted campaigns by the community are the best.

Can anyone recommend a scripted campaign that they have played and found interesting? And where can I download it?
Thanks

I use Lowengrin's DCG. It isn't as hard to setup as some make it out to be. I like the idea of being able to change my mission and plane I'm flying with just a few mouse clicks

I use DGen now but I have used DCG in the past. Both have their merits and their flaws.

In case you guys haven't noticed, Extreme-One makes some very fun campaigns. There are a few good scripted campaigns out there. I do enjoy DCG and tend to use it more, though Dgen is ok too (at least for ETO stuff).

I had a look at it but still haven't installed it. I prefer user-made campaign packs. I've tried and enjoyed:
"BoB"
"2 Ducks"
"The real deal" - All extreme_one plus poymando i believe (If I'm wrong i apologise to the makers)
Currently I'm playing and absolutely loving
"Jagdflieger I and II" - can't remember the creator's name unfortunately but they are excellent fun. I'm looking forward to JF III being released.
I've grabbed them all from airwarfare I think.

DGEN, but only because I haven't gotten around getting DCG yet. I'll have to check it out someday. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Grab the ones by Ian Boys on this page.

http://www.netwings.org/library/IL2_Sturmovik/Missions/

They are for the original IL2 but work perfectly in FB/PF, and are still some of the best ever made for this game.

Also IceFire's 'Shooting Stars' Luft 46 campaign.

I use DCG only for the ETO right now.

The PTO needs more work but each version contains more improvements and refinements.

I won't replace the native DGen with DCG as I like and dislike some things in both.

I've only started the El Alemain campaign and it ROCKS!!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif I'm betting the rest are just as great. I'll be flying them eventually.

I found that, if I fly as Normandy Nieman squadron in a Russian campaign, DGen will assign Russian pilots but with DCG pilots will be French (as I recall).

I do, however, enjoy both.

I use Dgen exclusively now. I tried DCG quite a few times but found it clunky and difficult to use, not very user-friendly. I also had a bad experience with it once where all the campaigns I had started in it got erased because I did something wrong. But I never was able to figure out what I did wrong, that's how confusing the program is to use. Besides, I can tweak the heck out of Dgen now, after learning it's systems.
