In the menu near the top of the page, click 'Go' then 'My Space' then 'Profile'.

You should now see your profile page. Click the link on the top right that says 'View/Edit Complete Profile'. Use the scrollbar (not the main window one) to scroll down to 'Signature'. Add the text you want in the text box.

Despite what the note says, you can add some HTML...

READ THIS FIRST:
Don't copy and paste the HTML examples I've used below!! The angled brackets symbols '‹' and '›' I've used are not the right symbols! To give you these examples, I had to use special symbols to show you what the code looks like, otherwise it would not display the code properly in this post. If you type in any of the HTML bits use the proper '<' and '>' symbols, found on your ',' and '.' keys (press 'shift' too http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif)

Examples of HTML you can add to your forum signature
If you want to add a horizontal line to separate your signature from your posts (like mine), type in the following at the beginning of your signature:

‹HR›

If you want to put an image in, you will need to add an IMG tag:

‹IMG src="http://www.webhostname.com/filename.jpg"&#8250

Replace 'www.webhostname.com/filename.jpg' with the full address of the image you want to use (you will need to upload an image to a website such as photobucket.com first, then you can get its address when uploaded). Whatever image you use, try to make sure it isn't much more than 500 pixels wide (so it fits in nicely). The image will need to be a JPEG or GIF, preferably no more than 50KB file size (otherwise it will take a while to load when your signature displays in a thread)

To add some text underneath your image, you will need to add a HTML line break after the IMG tag (otherwise the text will appear to the side of the image):

‹BR›

So, the full entry you make in the Signature text box in your profile may end up something like this:

‹HR›
Some text can go here if you want
‹IMG src="http://www.webhostname.com/filename.jpg"&#8250
‹BR›
Some more text can go here if you want

Once you've had a play with it, click 'Submit' to save the changes, then view any of your posts to see if it's worked. You can always go back and change it if you need to.
