Hey im not far into the game, but I have a quick question. I know im like 1 mission away from triggering the notoriety mechanic, and I was wondering if its worth doing all the side missions now before that kicks in?

In Assassins Creed 2 in the endgame you got a cape that let you basically turn that mechanic off, is there anything similar in this game?

Is it actually more fun doing some of the side missions later on in the game, when I have more stuff unlocked?

There are two capes that turn the mechanic off.

Basically, I didn't have a problem with it during the side mission. My notoriety hardly increased, ever, and if it did, I'd always ride by a poster or something.

Thanks for the quick response, I think ill continue with the main game for now then and come back to the side stuff.

Out of interest - is there a way to replay side mission memories later on? Can I redo Borgia towers etc?

Its entirely up to you, side quest are named that for a reason, you can go back to them at any time http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

However sometimes i like to take a break from the storyline and take down some Borgia Towers or help a citizen. Whatever floats your boat http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The Borgia cape makes you always incognito and is unlocked by collecting all Borgia flags.

You can replay missions, but not the Borgia towers (sadly. I'd love to replay them http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif.)

I think he meant AC2 and not ACB!
But anyway i prefere to do the two things at the same time from the first time they are available.

after you get rid of a borgia tower they turn into assassin towers and from there you can manage your guild, as well as in tiber island, but otrher then that no http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
