the game runs more then fine during game play but in the retail game the intro video, and logo's are semi chopy.some times even out of sync. this is not a factor on in game.

also in the demo after you use the linking book the movie that follows also has the same problum.

i know its not my 1.8gig pc not being able to keep up with it. anyone else haveing problums with the lame bink video intergration?

No, and I wouldn't assume it's not your PC either. Could be the video card, sound card, or the drivers for any of these. (And considering your PC is about half the speed of the fastest these days, it could even be your CPU. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif )

I'd start by updating all your drivers, and if the problem still persists, post all your specs here and maybe someone can help.

it's something to do with your system, probably the sound card.

people forget that Ghz means squat.

I would think an easy way to tell is to run the videos outside the game. If you have RAD video tools, just find the movies in the avi file and play them.

RAD Video Tools are installed by Uru http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Well, their commandline version is.

Anyway, as far as I can tell the audio to the movies isn't in the bik files.
