Is it even confirmed that all 9/10 Assassination Targets were real people? If so that'd be pretty cool, and another round of snaps to Ubisoft.

I'm pretty sure all 9 are people who died in 1191.

No, he didn't die during the 3rd crusades.
He made a peace treaty with Saladin and left for England.

Richard The Lionheart battles Saladin in the Battle of Arsuf which is supposed to take place at the end of the game. There's also at least one scene where Richard is on his horse not far from you.

i know he is the first one you are meant to kill but you fail, does that mean you go back and finish the job, plus Ravnica01 is right, Robert De Sable died in 1193

infact, he only joined the templers in 1191 and became their grand master within the same year

They took a little artistic license on it. The tenth target didn't die in 1191 either. Some of the characters show up younger than they were also.

They're two different Tamirs.

Also, don't resurrect a 5 year old thread.

the thing about being late, though is that probably, at least 60%, there is a chance we all know this stuff already..
