the wonderful thing about the towns I visited in England was that everything was accessible by foot, underground, or bus. Its nice to go for a walk and run all your errands in the distance of only a mile or two.

GM i beleave has a line of cars out that run on both gas and something wich i cant remember the name of . yellow something or another made from corn. i dont know how much per gallon it is. hear in north florida i have not seen this type of fuil at any gas stations. i remember when the gas prices around hear first went up past 2.50$ thay said it was do to the hurrican's damngeing the off shore oil rigs here on the southern cost. well the oil rigs have been back up to 100% out put for a long time and the gas prices are still just as high. its all BS greed. and greed like sh** rolls down hill.

I might not be lucky enough to have a vett but hay at least i can say my ride is the #1 MPG king in its class http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Nahh, you need to get a La-5 or some other Soviet rig. Not as stylish as the 'Stang, I know, but I hear they run on lamp oil and melted-down candles. And you can add a dash of vodka for those high altitude flights.
Perhaps you can add the vodka into the fuel mixture, too...

Well he's very nationalistic, I don't think he will ever do that.

Oil companies cut production at refineries and pump natural gas back into oil field pockets
partly to keep prices up, partly because and this was known back in the 60's that the supply
is running out at the rate it's being used. If consumers were not so greedy the demand would
fall to where cuts in refining would hurt the oil companies. The price will fall sooner just
to keep them operating. Look to the massive ego-compensators still being driven for why the
prices are not going to level off anytime soon. Errr, oh yeah people have em for safety!
Get that big truck for the brag rights and you can be a big man too!

GM's doing this marketting thing for God-knows-what reason, but Ford has had flex-fuel vehicles forever. A surprisingly large proportion of the Focus, Ranger, Escape, and Taurus lines can run on 100% ethanol. I think they just stopped putting the little flex-fuel badge on them because it just rubbed it in that fuel ethanol is unavailable in the US. In fact, the only country where anyone can buy fuel ethanol is Brazil. It's about half the price of gasoline there.

So, Brazil has us beat in both waxing technology AND energy independence. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
