EDIT: And if it is true then why the **** do we have to wait 2 full weeks here in the USA? DRM problems?

Win. Probably has something to do with something US Based? Like, age restriction or language, over here you can swear as much in games without it being considered "rude."

We're not Austrilia.

That whole jest about polishing the game and nothing about DRM related issues seems like a pile of bull****.

Buying the game overseas and having it shipped to the USA would be faster than APRIL 27th.

Probably. I don't see why they'd delay it. Probably to promote Xbox sales. But however, if a demo for PC comes out before the game is released for PC... I am so gonna laugh myself to sleep every single ****ing day lol...

Cause it is so ironic. You were all: "WE WANT A DEMO TOO" so they was like: "Fine, let them have their demo" and they pushed the PC Release back and made a demo for you until then lol...

It was already gold. And why would they polish the PC version only?

Obviously CDOn is slow with their information update. Seeing as every other stores within europe/america has the game for release at 30/04, it oughta be a slow update.
Thoughtful of you tho, to post this but... meh.. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Cdon is not slow no. They always keep their release date unless further notice by them. And they always notice atleast a month before release. If not, they're gonna send it anyways. Cdon is the type of company that puts customers first.

The website from the OP will be wrong. Unfortunately (given how tight Ubisoft has been with information about the PC version) we have to rely on second hand official information from the gaming sites. And that was that it had been delayed for the PC. Dates from sellers don't mean anything.

It would have been real nice if Ubisoft had had the decency to even give some offical indication of the PC delay. At least the AC2 delay got a mention on bloody Twitter. SCC got absolutely nothing straight from Ubi.

It's coming out the 29th in Scandinavia. CDON just haven't updated the information. Well, I suppose there haven't been any information from Ubi to the stores, so if CDON didn't have anybody reading some internet articles they probably don't even know yet...Every other site used weeks to get the new date too.

You are wrong. My friend ordered it and he was sent a mail yesterday, saying:
"We are happy to tell you that we have now shipped your game out the storage. You can expect it to arrive within 2-3 work days. Thanks for buying from Cdon.com"

This was translated from Danish to English by me, so don't take me literally if i missed something in there. So i think that pretty much sums it up.

The site is Game.dk
LINK (http://www.game.dk/acatalog/Boka_PC.html#a32032_2fP)
But has just send them a mail to confirm the date, so I have a answer tomorrow.

Two of the same game. I wonder what the exclusive unlock content is?. I noticed in the scc xbox360 forum, some console gamers mentioned buying the exclusive edition to allow access to the infiltration mode?, or using uplay points? which i find odd. I'm buying a normal/standard copy of conviction which has the main story/campaign + co-op campaign/prologue + Hunter mode + last Stand + Infiltration + face off and unlock the goodies as you go along.

The exclusive content for the pre-order edition is the SPAS 12 shotgun. You also get “Digging in the Ashes” - a comic book with 32 pages and a DVD with different bonus materials. The collector's edition I posted above gives you access to Infiltration mode for free.Otherwise you'll have to buy it for Uplay points. Also you get early access to 3 weapons, the Conviction soundtrack, special armor in-game and a Sam Fisher figurine.

Infiltration mode is for free anyway, it is part of the game, this was said in a video by Patrick Redding the games director. What are uplay points?, do they cost money or something?, i have never heard of them, and why would you have to buy Infiltration mode with these points when like i just said the infiltration mode is part of the game when you buy the standard edition/copy of conviction. I'm a bit confused about this.

Well, you get Uplay points when you play the game and YES,they are free. They are something like the Xbox achievments - you need to do different challenges and you earn Uplay points. You can use these points to unlock different things - weapons, maps, multiplayer modes, costumes etc. Also you can use these points on any recent game Ubisoft made - for example you played Assassin's Creed 2,earned some points and now you can use these points to buy stuff for Conviction. For more information you can see this video:

Then he ordered the Xbox 360 version. I have ordered the CE from CDON myself, and they do not have it yet. I just checked, both the 360 versions are in stock, but the PC ones are not.

Thanks for the info, i understand now. Just deciding which to get, limited collectors edition or standard ??. I like the price of standard but the content of collectors http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif. I like the idea of having Infiltration mode to play straight away when i want to, but working/playing for Uplay points to unlock content is also a good idea. I have noticed in Uplay forum gamers are having issues with ubisoft servers and Uplay/points and content availability, so that's a bit negative. 16 days to go then i'll make a decision. I might buy Assassins Creed 2 for the PC just to see how this Uplay stuff works out?.
