I know that Ac2 was a shoddy port on the ps3 and ACB was much improved. I bought ACB on the Ps3 because of the beta and exclusive mission, where as I bought Ac2 on the xbox 360.
I am leaning towards the Ps3 version of revelations, but will the xbox 350 and ps3 versions be comparable?

They have a great team working on this, so I expect any differences to be minor..

For an honest answer from the community, you may have to wait for either more hands on previews or more people to play the game..

I will say the game is looking great on both systems.. but I'm sure someone will point out any differences..

Lens of truth is always a good site for that..

Probably, I cant imagine Ubisoft stepping their game down. In every new title of AC they have always improved port wise. They will be the same imo.

Good to know. Well I guess we won't know for sure till closer to release. I don't mind minor differences, and ACB still looked great. If ACR is improved yet again, then that's even better. I guess I'll just get my animus edition preordered.

Come to think of it I do have a PC, which could run ACR. Are the visuals much improved and is it a console port? I never got an assassins Creed game on the PC, so don't know if it's worth it. Furthermore, would it even arrive in 2011 or would it get delayed?
I actually have my ps3 and xbox 360 hooked up to my PC monitor.

Time will tell, about the PC version - since once again, few details are available.

The game is scheduled currently for release on all formats at the same time.

Pretty much all that will matter at this point is which console's controller you like more. Ubisoft has improved at porting the xbox version to ps3 every game. I still expect the xbox one to run a little bit better, however, based on past statistics.

I don't really understand why you're saying XBox stuff is superior to PS3 unless you mean in terms of bugs and stuff? I never really ran into many issues. For whatever reason, though, my mind immediately jumped to thinking you were referring to graphics or something. If that's the case, I don't really get why anyone would say PS3 performance or graphics are inferior...it has more powerful hardware. As an example, they'll never port the inFAMOUS franchise to XBox because its hardware isn't powerful enough to withstand the kinds of things they want you to be able to do.

Didn't they demo it on PS3 at E3? That usually means it's the definitive version

I have both the PS3 and 360 and I will 99% of the time choose a multiport on the Ps3. It is a more powerful system, typically looks/sounds better, etc.
As far as ACR, I would expect the 2 ports to be exactly the same thing (obviously) except for better sound and graphical quality on the PS3.

I`m also trying to decide which version to get ACR on between ps3 or the pc since the pc isn`t being delayed this time. Problem is I have all my AC games on the ps3 so that`s what I`m leaning towards but has anyone played any AC on the PC, is it superior in any way?

No difference in any other way, obviously. Anyway, you'll have to play it on a PC to actually experience the 1920x1080, cause most screenshots (even on the above page) are at smaller resolutions.

I don't own an Xbox 350 so someone's going to have to tell me how that worked out for them.

After playing Brotherhood in both plataforms I'm leaning toward 360, I think AC looks better on 360 and plays better in my opinion but maybe Revelations will be a game that is equally good in both systems.

I find it hard to believe that so many people outright refuse the PC as a real gaming platform.

I'm sorry, but since the PC can run any gaming peripheral that consoles also use (gamepads, steering wheels, flightsticks), the fact that PCs are constantly evolving instead of being confined to 6-year old hardware, the PC will automatically run almost all games better than a console will. I say almost all because I wouldn't be surprised that some developers make the PC version of their game worse. In fact, I think the FIFA 11 PC Version was just FIFA 10 console version ported to PC. Not 100% sure on that one though.

The only reason that consoles are used more is because they cost less. But even then, you can get a mid-range computer that will run most games well today for around $600.

ACB's PC version was also a much better port than AC1 or AC2. Better graphics, better UI system. I really enjoyed it.

AC for xbox 360 or ps3? Definitely PS3. The controls for the game just doesn't go well with the 360 controller.

The only time I was really annoyed with the PC version of ACB was during the fixed camera missions, a controller made those missions so much more doable. Apart from that, I really adore how amazing the graphics look. I also much prefer the PC controls for multiplayer, but that's just my preference.

I'd play it on 1920 x 1080 as well, except when I shift to that resolution, for some reason, my mouse starts being all jerky. Wish I knew how to fix that.

I was never able to get used to the PS controllers. Too small. I'm sticking with my XBox 360.
