My mouth is on the floor, for F4 nuts working HUDs for f4 and an MFD system

FOr IL2 and Lomac nuts check the panels out

Im in heaven

One day, as a winter project (summer = vastly iproved social life and moutainbiking) Im going to build an Uber F4 cockpit using that HUD, real MFDs, F4Glass, a modded cougar and an Aimsworth SImpit

*insert insane laughter*

The thought of having a system like that makes me scream like a little girl, with lots of buttons to press and flashy beepy things....bwhahahahah

I think ill need a thermonuclear power plant to run it all though. Who cares. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/inlove.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

What would be even more uber would be an F-14 simulator.....with both stations moddled... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiighway to the dangerzoooone

Sorry, Im a little more pissed this time. Some broad bought me to many drinks.

This is what Quad-core CPUs were designed for hahahah http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

For running utilities for goodness knows how many LCDs for multiple MFDs, Areoglass, 3 monitors for peripheral vision and a HUD! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif

These are mighty cool. But they (many of them anyway) are the software to draw the instuments on a monitor under the cover with the guages cut out. To be honest I see it as being a great way to drop the cost of creating a custom control panel in a pit. And if you could swap the covers you could have several instrument clusters to suit all your favorite aircraft.

Neat...

Yep they look sweet, but at that price I dunno. Perhaps one of you chaps might run a quality check for the rest of us skeptics. Plz keep us posted!

The softwares 20 euros, an entire pre cut panel is 400 euros...they'll do custom jobbies for you as well, check their home page...they seem pretty reputable....they've been demoing there stuff at shows

Drooooool. Those panels are to go over a TFT which has the read outs on screen right? They're not actual dials are they?

Id just like to know how you line that HUD up with a screen behind it, Ill give em an email

That HUD is pretty impressive...

But I would never buy stuff like this... there just isn't enough immersion to take away that you are still looking at a monitor.

I would love to buy the gauges but since I play IL-2 almost 95% online they wouldn't work for me http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

The info needed from Device Link to drive the gauges is only available when flying off-line

Isn't there a free program that does this, UDPSpeed or something???

Let's see if I understand this right....

$400 Euros buys software that displays generic moidern instruments on to a spare screen plus a panel that fits over the screen with holes where the instruments are displayed and generic modern surrounds on the holes... nothing more?

Another 20 Euros buys surrounds for the holes that match those on the sort of aircraft you are trying to simulate and software to make the intruments look like the correct ones for that aircraft eg BF 109?
