How hard would it be to make Fleets & Vehicles moveable on the DF servers in HL ? surely a patch would cure it..makes divebombing & attacking whatever thats moving a bit more realistic..plus you might get them F4u's off the deck a wee bit easier http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

Will never happen.No AI in a df map.Want moving targets,fly a coop.

Placing moving objects in DF servers would result in a large increase in data to be transferred each time a new player joins (not only position information currently included in the mission file, but also speed and current position). As there is no "loop" function in the mission builder for waypoints, it would also mean that most AI objects would eventually run out of fuel or reach their final waypoints on 24/7 servers and the end result would be no movement anyway. With current game & network limits, it's been deemed impractical by the developers and as mentioned above, you'll never see it in this series.

Coops do offer moving ground and ship targets and moving carrier takeoffs. Give them a try, if you have the patience http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.
