Wow can't wait to start shooting at some Spit's and Hurricanes from the gunners position, while they are flaming us. Will there be a Nightfighter version with Radar Operator?

Hate to tell you this, but you were looking at a nightfighter's RIO position. The radar screens are in the upper left corner of the instrument panel.

What I mean is,I don't know how well FB can handle radar. It could be the displays are only there for looks....

This is indeed the 3 seater nightfighter version.

The G2 didn`t have radar controls, this one looks like the G4.
Very interesting...

just a guess but maybe the code could be altered to handle radar in the same way the mini map handels the little red & blue planes. in a was that is sort of like radar.

At the start of WW2 the German army lacked experienced anti-aircraft gunners. The average gunner was so bad that the USSR decided to help them out. They did it by forcing some of their pilots to fly I-153 flak magnets. These planes were slow but very sturdy. This allowed German anti-aircraft gunners to get a large amount of target practice on a relatively small number of planes. Thanks to the Soviets help, by the end of the war the German anti-aircraft gunners were amoung the best in the world.</center>

That wicker seat has got to put a heavy imprint in your butt when you pull out of a steep dive.

looks good so - far (my 56k'er hasn't finished downloading all the pictures yet /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif )

- it would be really cool if we could get working radar - as i said before (and copperhead mentioned) i'm sure a small(ish) peice of code could be used to convert the minimaps plane positions into the oscillating line or whatever the radar shows for nightfighting.

is this due in the paid add-on?

These are as good as the LOMAC cockpits. Absolutley lovely. I really hope they can get it finished in time to get it included in FB. I would hate to see all that work go to waste.

It´s not by Jippo.

Jippo is working on the Ju88 (together with Dietger), and before that he modelled the Ju87 cockpit.

The Bf110 cockpit is in work by Shane and Avirex.
They also made the Me262 cockpit. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Very modest Jippo, but I wouldn`t say so.

The Ju88 cockpit is probably the most difficult one ever modelled. And it`s awesome, like the 110s is.

You guys are playing in the same league, and for me both birds are the one I`m waiting for most impatiently... /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
