Hopefully, the AI will be remodeled to lose accuracy when firing thru them!

probably not. They seem to hit me just fine in the current clouds as well.

Sorry, the New Clouds will be AI Only.

Don't sweat the clouds and AI.

High altitude missions keep AI high.

Use overcast with Bad weather and set all waypoints well below the overcast--alot of Eastern Front air war was like this, flying low under the weather over the battlefield. This will help some.

Clouds discussion from simhq (http://www.simhq.com/simhq3/sims/boards/bbs/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=127;t=001814)

Goes back and forth on FPS hit, which new clouds settings are best, whether or not the beta 4.0 will be the same as official 4.0 when released, which vid cards will or will not be able to handle it....

Much conjecture but no real concrete - fun to read though...

I cannot help but think that additional algoreithems could be introduced to the AI which would only take effect by the condition being met once either the player or AI's aircraft "enters" into the clouds. Perhaps some additional choices for the AI's to consider as it "follows the target" would be in order, such as will the player go up, down, right, or left. Of course the AI see's everything within a range of distance at this point, perhaps a cloud could "interrupt" that logic, and place the AI into a rythem of search and attack modes.

A problem would be the programmers being able to actually program the possible "if/then" conditions for each AI level of pilot experience.

I can see that this would definately not be an easy task, however it would definately be rewarding to know that you could actually "loose" your AI opponenet every once in a whilehttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
