From all the news and reviews this looks like a multiplayer only game. Will there be single-player at all?

Have a look in here (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/5251069024/m/8031037178) and you'll find everything you need.

I suggest you read the whole thing so you don't make useless threads again in the future.

Welcome to the forum by the way lol

Well, you guys can't blame me.

All the talk is 'multiplayer this, multiplayer that,' which is why I wondered, is this a multiplayer only game?

Even if there IS single-player, it seems like in this game, the SP is the "add-on" and the multiplayer is the core game.

Sad, but at least I get to save some money by not buying this game ^_^

Lol dude, it's the other way around.
But since this is the first Multiplayer for Assassin's Creed everyone talks about it. Besides, if you would spend 3 minutes longer with searching you'd find a Singleplayer threat.
And the Singleplayer continues where Ezio's Story basicaly Left off.

You're not buying the game because you think it's multiplayer only? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

Are you serious? I don't see how some people just can't read a little bit more and find the answers to their questions.
(It's a bit obvious that AC:B has a Single-player mode)

I'm kind of worried myself. There hasn't been any in game footage shown of Rome, so it's probably just the Monteriggioni opening sequence and after that multiplayer, multiplayer, multiplayer.

Uhu ya, they made the Artwork of Rome just to make you want to play the game. But then it's just the Monteriggioni opening sequence, then you go to Rome, but in the next game you actually get to play in Rome.
When you arrive in Rome the game stops and you have to play Multiplayer.

Sounds like an excellent idea

NOT

I think mixaelus stopped posting out of shame (I hope he's ashamed at least http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif )

Well why wouldn't Ubisoft want to show off the multiplayer, when they first told the world this game would have multiplayer the general response was that they hoped it would just be second thought and that the single player would still be the highlight.

Ubisoft did the corrent thing at E3, the first thing they showed us was the singleplayer and the improvements being made to the formula (whiich looks great BTW), and then they showed the multiplayer. Of course this was also their best chance to prove the merits of the multiplayer, so they dressed to empress. They did better than that, they blew everyone's minds. Just go to any E3 awards on any game journalism sight AC:B is most likely the winner for Best multiplayer, and now people are exited to play it becuase its your average shooter or fighter and its not just "tacked on"

They single player has been shown and it looks amazing. Just watch the video walkthroughs.

Anyhow..

this is to everyone... We will be seeing a lot of new users, due not only to the game being advertised more, but also due to the PS3 beta...

So please welcome everyone in your normal 'community' way, which I am sure you will, but if it's a repeat thread, please simply report it, so a Moderator or myself can deal with it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

We don't really need 15 people saying 'search for it' http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Locking thread due to OP having answer they needed.
