I have found another new toy. You have probably seen or heard of Google Earth, well we have it here on M4T
With this version members can place a pin on their location so we all know where you come from.

Features:
- Map can be navigated via mouse (dragging/clicking) or keyboard (arrow keys to move and +/- keys to zoom).
- Entering your location is as easy as clickin gon the map and hitting "OK" if you want to use it as your location.
- Location updates are accomplished in the same manner as entering your initial location.
- Instant zoom to your location.
- Manual entry of member's location in either degrees minutes seconds or decimal degrees.
- You can enter in a location string that will link to your location in google maps. This can be used to do directions to and/or from your location. This link will also be seen in all of your forum posts as it is entered into your profile's location field.
- Provides error notifications if browser is unsupported by Google Maps or javascript is disabled.
- Allows download of Google Earth KML files to show a members information in Google Earth.

Lol, if you zoom in my position, you can even see the flat block where I live.

I can't figure out how to put my marker on the thing...any suggestions?

Not sure but... I think when you edit your profile and supply your location, the marker then will be placed automatically

Sorry you need to be logged in to place a marker. Your membership is in the queue, you just need to reply to the email the system has sent to you. Then you're good to go.

Hey snoopy, be aware that within the next few months they will start putting advertising overlays on it.

I was able to pin my house. A lot of areas are satellite mapped right down to street level.
