I suppose I should make a folder on my desktop and save all this info before the MIB make MrBlueSky1960 and slo_1_2_3 un-persons, and then make this thread disappear.

Hmmm... arrow shaped.... 1600 miles per hour. Jerky motion. A crash. To me it sounds like a botched test of a captured V2 or similar...

Ummmm, that is not the Roswell incident. This is Arnold's sighting which involved the initial use of the term "flying saucer" to describe UFOs.

Roswell was a few days later, which involved an alleged crash of a UFO near the base of the 509th bomb wing....and you guys should know who they were. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif

And you did not see this post......this was about V2 rockets crashing in the desert, and you will all get along and continue to fly your virtual aircraft...........now ignore me as I put these sunglasses on....FLASH.

I want to believe... but! Chances are slim, at best, of ETs ever visiting our tiny planet - which we do our best to destroy anyway. So by the time they cross the voids of interstellar space all they'll find is a dark, cold, charred ball in the space...

No one would have believed, in the last years of the nineteenth century, that human affairs were being watched from the timeless worlds of space.
No one would have dreamed we were being scrutinised as someone with a microscope studies creatures that swarm and multiiply in a drop of water. Few men even considered the possibility of life on other planets.
And yet, across the gulf of space, minds immeasurably superior to our own regarded this earth with envious eyes, and slowly and surely, they drew their plans against us.

"On February 15, 2001, the National Human Genome Research Institute's International Human Genome Sequencing Consortium announced the discovery of an enigmatic 223 non-human genes found within the human genome. "These 223 genes were horizontally inserted into the human genome by bacteria, not alien visitors." according to the Public Consortium. "The sequence tells us that we received 223 genes as gifts from ancient invading bacteria that somehow infected a distant ancestor of ours and horizontally transferred some DNA." according to Eric Lander of the International Human Genome Sequencing Consortium. Zecharia Sitchin's theory that these 223 genes were inserted by aliens is mere speculation, without empirical evidence and thus not a valid scientific theory, according to mainstream scientists.

The Public Consortium's theory that these 223 genes were inserted by bacteria is mere speculation, without empirical evidence and thus not a valid scientific theory, according to Zecharia Sitchin.

An analysis of the functions of these 223 genes through the proteins that they spell out, conducted by the Public Consortium team and published in the journal Nature, shows that they include proteins involved in important physiological and psychiatric functions, and are responsible for important neurological enzymes that stem only from the mitochondrial portion of the DNA – the so-called Mitochondrial Eve DNA that humankind inherited only through the mother-line, all the way back to a single "Eve." That finding alone raises doubt about the "bacterial insertion" explanation, according to Zecharia Sitchin.

Unless further scientific research can establish, beyond any doubt, that the only possible source of the extra genes are indeed bacteria, and unless it is then also determined that the Horizontal Gene Transfer went from bacteria to Man and not from Man to bacteria, the enigmatic 223 alien genes will remain as a corroboration by modern science of the Anunnaki and their genetic feats on Earth, explained by the Sumerian texts millennia ago, according to Zecharia Sitchin."

http://alsop.wordpress.com/2007/04/28/scientists-find-e...-genes-in-human-dna/ (http://alsop.wordpress.com/2007/04/28/scientists-find-extraterrestrial-genes-in-human-dna/)

A group of researchers working at the Human Genome Project indicate that they made an astonishing scientific discovery: They believe so-called 97% non-coding sequences in human DNA is no less than genetic code of extraterrestrial life forms.

The non-coding sequences are common to all living organisms on Earth, from moulds to fish to humans. In human DNA, they constitute larger part of the total genome, says Prof. Sam Chang, the group leader. Non-coding sequences, originally known as "junk DNA", were discovered years ago, and their function remained a mystery. The overwhelming majority of Human DNA is "Off-world" in origin. The apparent "extraterrestrial junk genes" merely "enjoy the ride" with hard working active genes, passed from generation to generation.

After comprehensive analysis with the assistance of other scientists, computer programmers, mathematicians, and other learned scholars, Professor Chang had wondered if the apparently "junk Human DNA" was created by some kind of "extraterrestrial programmer". The alien chunks within Human DNA, Professor Chang further observes, "have its own veins, arteries, and its own immune system that vigorously resists all our anti-cancer drugs." Professor Chang further stipulates that "Our hypothesis is that a higher extraterrestrial life form was engaged in creating new life and planting it on various planets. Earth is just one of them. Perhaps, after programming, our creators grow us the same way we grow bacteria in Petri dishes. We can't know their motives - whether it was a scientific experiment, or a way of preparing new planets for colonization, or is it long time ongoing business of seedling life in the universe."

Professor Chang further indicates that "If we think about it in our human terms, the apparent "extraterrestrial programmers" were most probably working on "one big code" consisting of several projects, and the projects should have produced various life forms for various planets. They have been also trying various solutions. They wrote "the big code", executed it, did not like some function, changed them or added new one, executed again, made more improvements, tried again and again."

Professor Chang's team of researchers furthermore concludes that, "The apparent "extraterrestrial programmers" may have been ordered to cut all their idealistic plans for the future when they concentrated on the "Earth project" to meet the pressing deadline. Very likely in an apparent rush, the "extraterrestrial programmers" may have cut down drastically on big code and delivered basic program intended for Earth."

Professor Chang is only one of many scientists and other researchers who have discovered extraterrestrial origins to Humanity. He and his research colleagues show that apparent "extraterrestrial programming" gaps in DNA sequencing precipitated by a hypothesized rush to create human life on Earth presented humankind with illogical growth of mass of cells we know as cancer."

Professor Chang further indicates that "What we see in our DNA is a program consisting of two versions, a big code and basic code." Mr. Chang then affirms that the "First fact is, the complete ˜program' was positively not written on Earth; that is now a verified fact. The second fact is, that genes by themselves are not enough to explain evolution; there must be something more in ˜the game'." "Soon or later", Professor Chang says "we have to come to grips with the unbelievable notion that every life on Earth carries genetic code for his extraterrestrial cousin and that evolution is not what we think it is."

You just had to know someone would toss that one out there.

Whether or not someone stumbles on us by accident I think is a moot point. We've been blasting radio waves into space for decades now. Sooner or later, someone will stumble onto those.
