Oh wow, what a great topic! I'm starting a thread about cool pilot skins. Since they are small enough to just post full size...

At one time long ago the missions you flew online would end up there, fully funtional. YOu could grab them and edit them to your liking, not giving credit to the original map maker.
Some guys through a fit over it. They felt they were getting hosed so Oleg listened and set the game to encrypt them from that point on.

I never understood the whining over it. So many map makers place their maps up for download anyways, once downloaded you can and some do still hack them around and don't give credit.

Its just a game, and Oleg, UBI are the only ones with any real copyright privleges.

Some of our community are just so dang arrogant, they can't stand it if the masses over looks them.

Oh and before someone goes off on me.
I never once built a map out of there.
I sure looked them over though, and used them as a tool for learning how to buld my own maps, back in the early days.

Funny thing, they can always download and edit those missions and give 0% credit to the author... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Like some of them do.
With skins same thing.
