Holy God is this thing sweet! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Nice and smooth, never have to recenter. Anyone who's using one of those webcam trackers needs to get a TIR, it's leagues and leagues ahead.

Takes some getting used to.

Anyone have a good profile for IL2? I'm using the default and it seems I have to twist my neck a little too far to check 6.

I think there are some good ones at M4T.

I got used to mine in about 5 minutes.

Will NEVER fly without one again. Well, not until something better comes along. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/clap.gif

"TrackIR 4pro" is a "must have" bit of kit...You might find that "IL2 1946" is a whole new game with "trackIR"...and I would almost go as far as saying that their is no point in playing "IL2" without it...

I like a (slow) linear profile with a dead zone, and I un-ticked the "Roll","X","Y",and "Z" boxes on the "motion" page of the profile (IL2 doesn't use these dimensions)...oh, and I keep "smoothing" below 25. (works for me...)

Here is a link to the page with a bunch of user profiles HERE (http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&c=578) I started with "Sparx" profile and tweaked it...His pack has a good selection of profiles (fast to slow) to start with and will give you a good idea of what is possible...

<span class="ev_code_YELLOW">Reading "Charvels" TrackIR guide is a good place to start...find it here... (http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Knowledge_Base&op=show&kid=384) </span>

Thanks zardozid, I ended up just fiddling around and made myself a linear profile from scratch, and it just made a great product better.

It's sooo easy to keep track of people now!

I use the Charvel profile on the Naturalpoint website as this one stops me turning my head too far left and right, it's excellent on the centre deadzone and responsive on the head turn.

I recommend that one of all the ones I've tried.

Cheers and welcome to the world of Track IR fun, MP

If I could afford it, i`d have 2... My sidewinder was also really good and that`s just quit. 2 of those would`ve been good too. I wonder if there`s a way to get a new power cord for it?
