This is where I am going to list the challenges I have personally completed and verified.

Right now it's just;
1. 2. 3. 6.

Maybe do the same for you. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/clap.gif

Cheers http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Yeah I originally tried it because in real life it would be stupid to go kill/attack guards in order to impress a girl, and you wouldn't wanna get the package wet would you? Also I thought that using a cherry bomb makes the challenge too easy, so added the no bombs bit too.

Anyway I'm gonna give yours a try after I finish a Philosophy essay http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/typing.gif

I won't be able to do anything till my game is delivered (around the 20th) but I'm looking forward to trying new stuff here and in the other uncommon tactics thread I think it's called.

I'm shocked that ACB is so much easier for me to play now. It used to be almost impossible so I must be getting better at AC http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Plus I don't much about the Med Defense recruit details, so I'll check into that too. I didn't know it was like a side game w/ that many recruits.

Okay I should rename my challenge SUPER EASY, seeing as after about 7 tries I cannot complete your sentinel one!!!! The headstart and banning of ranged weapons make it impossible to catch up or ambush him?

EDIT: I managed to get him with the gun as my apprentice dropped down, but the cutscene still showed my apprentice holding him, don't think that counts.

EDIT AGAIN: Just completed #1 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

@Infected
No you got it the way I did, chase him around that corner, lock and shoot, but you have to be fast before the recruit gets him. When ai did it the recruit still tried the aerial but the Sentinel had already thrown his arms up in the death throes.
I like it because it's requires doing a couple of things really fast.
The recruit race is much harder for me.

Poor Prodigurl, ACR withdrawls. You will get better the more of them you play though. Thats why Ubi has to include the training missions at the start of each game, even though older fans hate them and think it isn't cohesive with the story. I like it, much better than reading a manual.
in AC1 I was very slow with the killing, by ACB I had got to the point where I could sprint full tilt up a free route (marked by white linens), lock a couple of guards outside treasure room below in stride, hit the aerial assassination and then role on through to the next linen route. Just full sprint killing all across the city.
The depth to this game is incredible.

Ah okay I was trying to get him with the hidden blade, but it became obvious after a while that they programmed the game to not kill him first in order to show the achievement and development of your first recruit.

So yeah looks like I've completed the first 3 challenges, I kept screwing up the Tokapi one until I decided to take a completely different route to the other assassins (stayed on the roof though). I was gonna use the parachute but it wouldnt open but I still beat the fastest assassin by half a second

SolidSage
12-15-2011, 02:54 PM
It took me so long to beat those recruits, I used their routes. You must have found a good one Infected.

We're going to need some new challenges fast.

Shame there's not an in game timer so we could post fastest times for some of the tombs...? Kind of an open ended challenge.

I had a good one for Ac1 back in the day, seeing who could accumulate the most guards in to a fight, and win.

InfectedNation
12-15-2011, 03:00 PM
I find that if I use their routes I'm more likely to bump into them and get knocked off the roofs. I followed the one who does the hookblade jump on the plant pot, and after the jump i went off in my own direction and got back on their course at Hagia Sophia, I've only been able to do it once so far because I'm so tired :L

Anyway I'll look through the DNA menu and try to find some more challenges

haha, The withdrawls came the day I had to mail ACR back to the rental store.
It was like parting from a best friend lol

When I first started w/ ACB it literally took me hours to take one tower lol. One harder mission could take me a couple days http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif
http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

When all you're used to is running up & shooting or sniping.... this takes alot more skill (well, I won't go into skill levels & difficulty - for some, it's all easy).

So ya, it's really incredible and why it's really kept my interest above everything else I used to play.

#3: MEDIUM
Sequence 4, Memory 3. 'The Fourth Part of the World'

I call that,

That was one of my top fav missions, so I didn't have to look it up - how could anyone do that?

I beg to disagree.... It is very possible, it just takes good timing. Although I may have been lucky about getting out after I got the package - it's a LOT harder than getting in.

My only tip is patience and timing.

All I can think of is using a parachute to fly in onto the boat lol.

There are 2 guards that miraculously'appear' on that decking in front of the boat when you get onto it too...

I'd love to see a Vid of someone accomplishing this. lol

InfectedNation
12-15-2011, 03:43 PM
If I had a decent means of filming it I would. Maybe across the weekend or tomorrow night I'll get my camera out.

Like I said, it's the escape that is very diffcult under my conditions, getting to the package is much easier than it seems once you work out a good tactic.

About to attempt Sofia's package now Prodigurl made it sound so difficult!

Nice one Infected. That one felt like an in game challenge, nice job. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/clap.gif
Flippin Duccio sniffing around our girl.
Took me 4 attempts, found a nice easy route in, but had to get a bit creative to get to the other end of the ship to get the package. Getting out wasn't too bad, like you said, bit of watching and waiting.

blazefp
12-15-2011, 04:32 PM
I've passed ACI 5 times, ACII 4 times, ACB 4/5times (can't remember) and ACR 1,5 times plus I'm prestige lvl 1 in multiplayer and was lvl 50 for a long time in Brothehood. If I can't do this, no one can xD

SolidSage
12-15-2011, 05:44 PM
Woah there Blaze, I've beat AC1 numerous times on both PS3 and 360 and all the others multiple times on 360, I maxed the achievements on PS3 AC1, (close on 360), AC2, ACB 50/60 and ACR, I'm at 38 of 53 and haven't touched MP yet. I have 100% synced all of them since sync inception. I maxed out at 98 overall Templar Grade in ACB, and was just outside the top 100 (like 108) in total stuns on the standard leader boards.
What I'm getting at here, is although you fancy yourself a Master Creedite, and you may be, you not being able to do it doesn't mean I can't. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif And anyway, I already did. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

@ProdiGurl I've just finished the customized mission. Better yet, I've made it even harder: you can only use the hidden blade, nothing more and u cannot kill more than 1 guard http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I'll post the link for both videos as soon as I can.

ProdiGurl

How do you guys do this????
And if this is the case, then no good gamers should even complain about syncing in AC - it would mean you could sync w/ both hands behind your back.
lol

lol happens that I didn't read "without harming guards" xD
Anyway I gave it another try and now it's ready (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pnfoQLw_1s&feature=youtu.be) . There's actually more than one way to get on the ship, steal the paper and get out of the area

EDIT: yeah that's a good challenge, trying to complete the game only using our feet hmm I'll try to do that xD

DANG That was good.
I didn't even see that way of entry before.

All I could think of was parachuting in but I didn't know if there was a high enough building to jump from.

Really good stuff, thanks for showing us that.
I'll have to try this too - I'm askeered of what my results will be lol

Neat method. The one I used last involved using bombs and blending to avoid the guards, climbing onto the ship from the back from the water and then climbing on and jumping from mast to mast. Not a single guard even saw me.

SolidSage
12-16-2011, 03:20 PM
@Blaze
That's the route I took to get on the boat, but once on I climbed the mast and parachuted to the other end of it. Grabbed the item and chuted off the end to the pier.

@Infected
I'm struggling with #5. I poison darted the Janissary from a crowd while blended but it wouldn't give me the hidden.
Using the Romanies is no good because they always peel off and poison guards...
I even went so far as pushing the Janissary IN to the center of a crowd and did him but still no 100% sync.
Tried luring him with coins, no joy. I'm still working it.

You should try #6, it took a while for me to verify that it was doable. Of course, once you figure it out it's relatively easy but it's a long one, so one minor error screws a HUGE pooch.

blazefp
12-16-2011, 03:21 PM
Yeah the cool thing about this mission is that it looked like Ezio went there just to pick that thing up, no big deal. Guards? they didn't even noticed they were being robbed just 2 meters behind them eheh

Anyway I tried the others and I must admit #6 and #1 are quite hard. I'll try to post the video tomorrow, you guys/girls have to see it.
In #6 the camp of janissaries is divided in 3 sections. So I climbed the tower dividing the 1st section of the 2nd and killed a patrolling guard right in the middle of the section with the hidden gun; all the guards went there to investigate, 22 in the total, so what do I do? DATURA BOMB! Killed 22 guards with 1 bomb, epicness at its best, it was really awesome. The next sections are quite easy, just uses the same tactic http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
The #1 is a bit harder though, you have to have really good reactions and use the fastest way. It's a lot of fun too

And I'd like to add another challenge. You know that mission of the hidden passage in Sofia's house? That one without bombs, without being detected, only ranged weapon allowed are spears/axes/longswords and killing all the guards. I'd call this mission's difficulty Impossibru xD

EDIT: @SoliSage Yeah I tried to do that first but I was detected on my way down xD
I've completed the #5 before this thread was created lol it's easy, u just have to attract the guard to the nearest bale of hay and kill him http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

SolidSage
12-16-2011, 03:39 PM
@Blaze
I'll paste your mission to the OP after you give me the sequence and memory number. Use that original format so I don't screw it up.

#5. Not easy to lure him without bombs or dead bodies though. Those custom stipulations are good.

#6. yep, climbed the wall above the bomb craft station, then sat there daturaing them all, you can get SO many in one bomb, it's pretty awesome seeing them all flailing about. Then the next 10 or 15 come along for their dose.
I think #1 is still the hardest so far, I've only done it twice. Once by following the recruit that swings on the pot and the next time by peeling off after the pot swing like Infected suggested. Much easier when you're not getting bumped all the time.

Yeah I know I would tell you that if I knew. I only know it cuz it was by far the hardest mission in ACR to get 100%

#5. Not easy to lure him without bombs or dead bodies though. Those custom stipulations are good.

I think he passes close to a hale of bay, I'm not sure though. Do you consider pushing harming?

SolidSage
12-16-2011, 04:35 PM
@Blaze
I'll check your mission suggestion later on.

Pushing is fine right? No one gets hurt. When I pushed I was doing it walking with the B button, so he kind of brushes them aside, not really like an attack or anything.
I can't get the Janissary to move unless I start trouble, he beats up the one dude and then stands there giving the other dude a ration of shiz about something or other...never goes on a walk about.?

Oh believe me, I didn't figure that one out right away. First I bladed a guard right in front of that bench, flew onto the bench real quick (doesn't let you sit after a kill registers w/ the crowd)
it did lure the Jannisary down to inspect the dead body but as he was coming towards me on the bench, it didn't let me take him out w/ the hidden blade from there.

Then I figured the haystack had to be the spot & shot my gun to see if it would work & it did.

SolidSage
12-16-2011, 05:46 PM
Yeah, i used the haystack and cherry bomb first time through w/no issue. Its Infected's stipulations that got me stumped, forgot about the gun completely.

InfectedNation
12-17-2011, 02:36 AM
I never actually thought of using the gun... What I did was wait for an opening where the other guards go away, run into Janissary so he follows me to haystack having a go at me for being an ***hole, then just pulled him in the haystack with me http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Wait that sounded so wrong.

ProdiGurl

Wait that sounded so wrong.

Ya it sure did
hehe http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

What I like about this game is all the variables you have.

Like, with the sync challenge w/ that "fourth part of the world" mission - I was imagining us having to do that the way I did the mission & there was NO WAY on earth that you could do it the way I went in.
But I was oblivious to other entry points to the point.

I've seen it on Youtube Walkthru's too - some people do it quicker and smarter than me & others drive me crazy bcuz I did it a much better way & they're doing it the hard way.

For people who are complaining about how short the game is, they should replay missions & be creative; find other ways to do things & have fun at it...
I dunno
