Hello All

I have updated all 6 versions of the Beggar's Canyon mission on my site, There are now three P51D versions and three P47D versions, all are based on the same basic mission but have considerable differences that deal with weather. searchlights, time of day, and related objects. There is a basic version for slow machines/systems as well. These new versions will most likely not work well with earlier versions of FB as they required waypoints to be moved to get the AI to work with V1.21 so if you are running anything other than V1.21 these will be a waste of time for you. The mission is both ground attack and dogfight requiring flight thru a steep AA lined canyon to destroy German airfields and sink a torpedo boat in a lake at the far end of the canyon. They can be played on-line as a Coop for up to 4 people and are not too hard with some great scenery and effects. Designed to be fun and you do not need to be God's gift to Aviation to complete these! Have Fun

Barracude, why don`t you add a "Download all 6 missions" pack? Some of us would want everything we can get, but preferably without having to download one by one.

If you wait until the last minute to do something, it will only take a minute to do it!

Actually that is a good idea I have thought about but then some people don't want all of them so that is a topic of personal opinion. The deciding factor is web-space as I do not have an unlimited supply as I run another site from the same account. In some ways it would simplify it by having one combined .zip file but then others would want only select missions??? I do not want to duplicate it by having singles and a combined so Hmmmm??? I will however give this some more thought and user opinions may swing it to a combined file at some point!

Thanx for the input - it is welcome!

Cuda

I really enjoy those two basic missions. They work fine on a 1937 steam-driven computer such as mine.
Many thanks.

Barra-Cuda,

Played the daytime P-47 mission and really enjoyed it. Would you mind if I made a few changes to the mission and tried it out on HL?

Of course, your name would stay in the briefing.

I love missions with the American planes. I'm looking forward to them.

Also, I took a look at your Cuda... What a beauty! I haven't lived when it was realistic to obtain such a car but I've always loved the old muscle cars. In the late '80s and early '90s I enjoyed doing heavy mods with friends. A lot of work, and money...but it was fun. I did a lot of head porting on 318s: police engines. A lot of meat to take out for respectable street/strip flow. Needless to say some mild cleanup on a 360 would have served the purpose. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Thanks for the missions, and photos

No Problem go ahead and do what ever you want to it! I think we all do that anyway and play them within our individual circle of flyers/friends. One person posted here that he changed the two person daytime version to a four person version and that is just great!!! Have fun!!!! The originals will be on my site if you want to get back to basics!
