Oh Man! I've seen him on videos and then they tell his record, which was brilliant. The world loses
when these people are gone. He had so much heart.

Sad news indeed. He came across as a very decent and modest man, as I suppose many of them were. R.I.P.

Hi all,

I have his signed book. And also a signed print of a painting. The painting depicts him allowing a 109 pilot during the Battle of Britain to land his plane in the channel. He should have finished off his kill.

The 109 pilot was picked up by a German E-Boat. The German pilot went on to become a high scoring ace.Doe said that he didn't have it in him to kill the pilot although he said he perhaps should have done.

The wife of the German pilot wrote to Bob Doe in the 1970's thanking him for saving her husband's life.

Here's my signed print:

And his signature on the print:

Here's the Picture Certificate. Very interesting.

He was a really modest gentleman. Was due to meet him a while ago but circumstances were against me. Always take every opportunity in life. You may not get another chance.

It is a sad day to hear of the loss of these heroes.
Unfortunately, they are passing on everyday.
Even more sad when these heroes are all gone.

These Gentlemen were true heroes.
RIP and thank you for all you did.
We will always remember you, our freedom depended on your actions during those dark days.
