After so many months of offline camgiagn-ing, finally found enough confidence and guts to go online... And the WarCloud Western Front server is the lucky one to take my virginity http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_redface.gif

Yep, indeed a refreshing experience... jumped a Anton, saved a fellow mustang's butt by smoking a G6, he RTB, but I refused to let him go... moved in for a kill, but just before the finale my wing got chopped off by AAA raining from nowhere.... not a fuiltful first mission but very fun at least.

Refly, jumped a Dora and a Anton, they managed to lost me but one of them must be badly shot up, I got my first online kill moment later, when I was playing a neat lose-deuce with a fellow Mustang to finsih off a Anton. This guy was a good one, he refused to die for a good 5 minutes...

All in all, a good first day for me.... I will come back again http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif and again http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Yeah one thing you'll quickly learn is to know the difference between healthy aggression and greed. The former is good, unlike the latter. If you smoke a plane, then you've most likely taken it out of the action and that's all that counts in team play. "Finishing him off" is a stupid thing to do unless you've got a buddy or two flying top cover for you while you finish the deed. Even then, that ammunition could be better spent on a fresh aircraft. Your perogative, however. Glad you had fun!

wow, the second day on WarCloud, end of honeymoon...

Seem the red is in numerical disadvantage when I started playing. Tried to jump a Anton but he know I was there, and baited me into is wingman... instant death http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Refly, jumped a G6, being dragged into a dogfight, just to realize he had 4 or 5 friends around... wing chopped off nicely http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Then tried to catch a 110 who did quite a lot of damage to our base. In range, started shooting, but an unknown plane from 11 o'clock killed my pilot in one burst.... oh, 3 times, server kick me out.

Have a rest and did some thinking before I start again. I thought I should asset the situtation better before I commit to anything.

This time I jumped a pair of 109s at the borderline. They noticed me, and tried to bait me again.. not to be fooled this time, and I dived toward home. They followed me, but AAA stopped them. Just want to turn back at reverse the attack, but AAA got them both already, too bad, haha.

Re-enter the battlefield, a Cobra is chasing a 109, but not so comfotablely. Just want to "give him a hand" http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif but found a Anton on his tail.... I scared him away by spraying at him http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

and this time the 109 has fought his way back and now on the six of the cobra... He didn't know I am there and commited into a turnfight. I soared down and got him badly, and he bailed out, a very rewarding victory for me!

And now another 109 was already on my six. I used the same trick: dive toward mt home http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif and it worked again http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

reenter the battle once again, The Cobra is still there, although it was smoking badly. Two 109 is on his six, I dove down and got one of them, he smoked and spinned out of control, but he recovered just above the ground.... anyway I treated it as a victory, he didn't have any chance of making home http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

But another 109 was now on my six. Couldn't get away, because I am not as fast as I was last two times. Dodged all the way, and hope someone will come... and it really happened! A Mustang scared him away, but too bad, he exposed himself to an Anton and he exploded in the air... I feel terribly sorry about this guy...

and now the red is in a 6 vs 3 disadvantage, soon my six was occurred by another G6. The Cobra was still flying with his smoky engine, and there were 2 bandits on his six. I tried to get one of them, but the G6 on my six shot me up once and for all before I succeed, and I need to bait out.

Time to go, let's call it a day....and it is a fuiltful one, I must say http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

~S all

I agree, 1st time for me in warclouds server last nite myself, great server for that many players. I got 2 kills, and got killed 6 tmes, lol.

Alot to be learned when playin full pit, and limited icons, altho i have played full pit b4.

I love it, the rush ya get when sneaking up on an enemy, or when ya see tracers flying by yur pit and you pull a split s to escape, think yur ok and bam yur cut in half, ~S good kill.

The experience speaks for itself, if everyone tried it for a while they would love it, it beats open pit hands down.

HK,

now just go get teamspeak.

rather than having to "TAB",and number thru your way with comands to stuffy AI wingmen, you can now talk to live wingmen...(who wont fly into a mountain because its height is greater than the wingys altitude)

i remember seeing you in there. welcome aboard!.now hop on comms..whichever side you choose, great guys in there who will help you out with any questions you got.

Hi GAU-8 I saw you there too http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Yep, I think I would try TS really soon.... especially after I repeatedly killed by some neat teamworks... They must be on TS, I am sure, otherwise they can't setup those traps so beauifully.

now I really realize the adv a radio will give you, and how you would suffer without it (I feel a little bit sorry of those IJN pilot)

S! FatBoyHK!

I read your posts about your first online venture with interest. I'm always intrigued by how many feel they are playing a new game after going online. I know I much prefer online play most of the time.

I will mirror the sentiments of previous posters and say...get teamspeak. Many servers also have public TS channels for their servers and usually, you can find someone to wing with regardless of which color you fly. I know geatergreen has public TS as well as Warclouds.

Background -

Been flying planes in IL-2 for a couple of years. I started by playing mostly offline campaigns, exploring a variety of game settings at the time. Later started flying online and increasing my game difficulty settings. Then last year joined a squad and got into voice communication and teamwork, plus a little bit of wingman flying.

Some observations -

I continue to enjoy offline campaigns, especially where I elect myself squadron leader. Something very immersive following the mission objectives as you fly with your squad to the target zone.

Despite the limitations of the AI, there's something unique often lost on most (but not all) public servers - tight team work and comms (i.e., calling for immediate assistance or issuing commands to the squadron).

I am glad to see a lot of popular servers now offering TeamSpeak. Definitely helps with teamwork. Still what's missing, but hey these are just dogfight servers, is more organized teamwork - heck a lot of squads lack such organization. What is often deadly are those two experienced players flying tight wingman in public servers.

One thing worth mentioning with regards to off/online play is that they truly are night and day. I mean in a campaign I feel much more relaxed, worrying about CEM and mission objectives, but online if you want to do well a healthy dose of paranoia is needed at all times. Yet there€s such a rush getting well-earned kills against human players than offline, not to mention the ruthlessness and unpredictability of online play.

For instance, I made the mistake recently of concentrating only on offline campaigns and thought I would jump online for a quick kill or two. They were sure quick kills €" I was promptly killed (but hey my engines were nice and cool at time) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif.

ip for warclouds is

67.18.111.250, and the password is :warcloudsrox

(if you havent done so, or have anyone tell you how to add servers to TS)

open up TS, underneath "connection" click CONNECT.. from there RIGHT CLICK on SERVERS tab, then "add new server"
type in warclouds or what ever server your going to , add the IP, an password if any.. make sure you enter your name, and uncheck server made nickname

if you have a HOTAS or joystick that you want to bind to the TS key for activation , make sure you use TS to assign a key to press, then use your joystick program to activate that key when you want to talk.

I'm with you fatboy. After 18 months offline I started flying online last week (just got cable).

Somehow I got my first kill about three minutes after joining (got slaughtered for about three consecutive days after that!).

I won't give away the name of the pilot but I will always remember it. It's funny, but I feel a certain bond with the guy. Afterwards I had that urge that some RL pilots mention to by him a drink in the mess.

I've seen him a couple of times since. When we are on the same side I try to fly his wing for him. Sort of to return the favour.

Thats excellent you had a good experience. Team Speak or Ventrilo are good comms to use and are important to keep you in the air. Also try out some of the COOPs that are out there. But you really need comms to have a good experience in COOPs. Good luck and ~S~

Third day online, another new experiences!

This time is Greatergreen, early war PTO, and I am on red. wow, flying F4F vs Zero is a totally different ballgame for me! I know I shouldn't turn with them, but what I don't know is that if I don't make my BnZ right, they will get him when I try to zoom away.... died 3 times in this way http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif

the last one is margainal, but very fruitful... I saw a zero chasing my buddy on the deck, I spit-sed and jump on him. 3 Second burst, and his left wing caught fire! But when I zoomed again, he barely missed me with his cannon, and finally crashed into the sea, wow, a close call.

On the way back I tried to kill a dive bomber making a run on my carrier, got him but got a smoky engine due to friendly AAA.... Tried a quick a landing appraoch but overshooted, and very unfonutately my engine quitted at this moment.... Ditched, but I am stll very happy with this sorties.

Then played in a server near my hometown, very low ping and much fun. Back to my beloved Mustang, and this time I set a target: I want to bring victories back home!

Stay up high to search for any bandit flying alone. But being jumped by a G6. I use my mustang's superior speed to leave him behind, and even before he gave up I maanged to BnZ a 190 on the top of his zoom, shot him up badly (control cable) and he hit the silk http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

And then at this time another Anton tried to jump me, again I use my speed to keep him at bay. On my way home I catched a 109 in a tight turn, he smoked badly and die several minute later. Above my base, AAA finally drove off that bugger on my six, and I duly landed for the first time in my (online) life http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_redface.gif. 2 very rewarding kills under my belt, and 200 points next to my name http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Fourth day online, I think I have finally gained my wing http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Still keep myself in a pony for the time being. I am learning to make the right decsion to engage, and not to hestitate disengageing if needed. Basically I keep myself fast and several thousand feet about the furball below, and leave the TnB job done by spit and cobras. If I spot a good shooting opportunity, I BnZ them. I tend to be conserveative in this stage, and sometimes I think I may miss some decent attack opportunity... anyway I think there is a learning curve ahead of me.

Today in warcloud, I fly in this way, and two 109 jumped on me. I full-throttled and leave them without problem... they are frustated too, ask me to stay and fight... In the old day (ha, not long ago) I would certainly try to fight with them... but now I know, in this co-alt 2v1 situation, I better disengage. or should I try something different? Or it is limited by my ride (pony) ?

Then a reenter th field and BnZed a FW. Got him with my first shot, but it is not a killing blow. Followed him for some minutes, finally killed him http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Time to go home! take a look of the fuel gauge, and IT IS FLOORED!!!!! engine quitted in this moment. Ditched in ET, that mean only 10 points, haha...

Fly again, in the same way, high and fast. When climbing a BF suddenly appeared on my windscreen!!! My eyes were just back from the TV, lol!!! couldn't take a shot, and he turned back and shoot at me... I doved and reached 800km, loose him finally... what a close call!

Continue my joureny to the frontline. Got a FW on the top of his zoom, followed him down and kill the pilot in a tight turn, good sorties, and dodn't forget to go home this time http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I think I am learning something new every time I fly onlne

Just learnt a lesson in a hard way, and this is about the speed of Mustang...

seem I am too confidence with the it... in a Japanese server and on my way to the frontline, a 109G sneaked into my six. I tried to TnB with him, but I couldn't hold it for long, once my speed dropped I disengage, old tricks always works, right?

But I make a mistake this time, I dive too narrowly. When I reach 500m, I check six and realized that he was still there.... and I start to remember that, on the deck, Mustang isn't fast by any mean... and my fate is sealed.

One question, is it always wrong to TnB with a BF in a pony?

Joined another server in China, Axis vs Allied setup, and you can guest, it is La7 vs Ki84, with some Yak and zero. When everyone is TnBing down low, I flied high and look for my prey (I think I am an eagle! lol http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_redface.gif). BnZed serveral time and got one Ki84. On the way up there were always some buggers trying to follow me, but with all the experience I gained I didn't let them succeed.

Backed home and fly again, using the same technique. Got a FW in a high speed turn. This time a Ki84 jump on me, and this effectively drove me back home http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif.

At home, found a big furball was under way... thinking about cashing-in my kill by landing righ away http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif, but it is too selffish for my buddies fight hard with a numerical disadvantage (yes, numerical disadvantage adove my home base!!!) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/354.gif

Throttle up again and climb into position. then spit-sed to help a buddy who was chased by a FW. Got him in a tight, diving turn.

Then found another buddy in trouble, he was about to lose a fight with an Oscar.. Jumped on him, wounded it but it was not too critical. And he turned around and shoot at me!!! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif Oscar is really a good turner! but foutuately I did my attack correctly, and I have the speed to recover. Finally, the La5 finished him off. (and I think I should be awarded a shared kill for this one http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif)

Really need to RTB, as I was low on fuel. But on the final approach I found another Oscar making serious trouble for my friend above... OK, I climb to position again, and waited for a a good opportunity. I saw it doing a zoom climb, and it is the time! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif I soared down and wounded it in my first pass, and in the second pass I killed the pilot....

Seem there is no more blue here anymore, ... and WOW, I am the savior of my buddies! radio chatter coming in, some praised me, some said I am a kill-stealer...lol, none of my business!!

Really need to go home http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif I barely made it. The score is 4-0, what a nice day in this server. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

You've gone from New User to Experienced Ace in a week? Gosh, it is true then, natural pilots do exist... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

I've been flying (very sporadically) on the Warclouds, Birds of Prey, and Greatergreen servers (I think? I'm not 100% sure what they're called) and I still end up flying for miles without seeing anyone, then finally spotting a dot, sneaking up on it, then realising that the dot is actually flying straight at me and shooting all my engines off... or trying to BnZ in a P-38 and ending up flying through the exhaust towers of some factory in a city somewhere...

Continue my online adventure today, some interesting experience on WarCloud http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Flying on ET @ 15000ft, spotted a 109. Turn and dive on it, but couldn't position my run correctly. No problem, I zoomed up to prepare for another run http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif When I looked back, I found that, to my amazement, he followed me up! That is the worst thing he can do :P He has a shooting window, but it was just to far away. As expected, he started to fall way ahead of me http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif I came down and shoot, but he evased. Treid once again, and this time I got him from head to tail with a snapshot while turning sharply... Not visible damage, though. He dive down to escape, I wanna follow, but just before I commit, I spotted another 109 on my tail, and it is REALLY close. Too bad, need to run away again.

Dived down and recovered at 6000ft, and spotted a 190 right in front of my gunsight!! It must be the best run I have ever made http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Don't wanna mess thing up, I was still on a run with someone on my six http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_redface.gif so I wanna give him one go only. Although he didn't aware of my presence, I am way faster then he was so I only have a some shooting window. Nonetheless, I got him right on with a good snapshot from head to tail, he was still looking fine, but I let him go, and continue my escape.

Here is the interesting part: Finally I arrived my home, but with some disappointment....no score, you know :P But all in a sudden, 2 "Enemy aircraft destroyed" messages pop up at the same time!!! I really wonder what was going on, so they crashed? or somnething else, dunno, but let it be, I was more then happy with it. Landed, and a monent later the game restart on a new map.

It turned out to be a small map...too small for a Mustang, because I didn't have much room to gain alt. I barely reached 5000ft when I spotted a 109 right behind my tail!!! Foutately a spit was there to help me out http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif I tried to be a bait and let the spit shoot, but this guy wasn't a good marksman (lol so do I http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif). I looped up, and got the bad guy's engine when I came down. But he refused to give up and tried to run away. I refuse to giev up too, and BnZed him 3 times, finally got rid of him..... just to found out he crashed on his airbase, SO I WAS IN THE ENEMY'S AIRBASE!!!! I looked back and I saw the worst thing I have ever seen in my online adventure: there were 5 bandits on my six!!! Now I know I had done one BnZ too many, otherwise I would have the energy to encape... but not now, I exploded in mid-air a moment later.

fly again, this time I tried to fly in the oppsite direction, hope to gain some alt before entering the fight... But just 2 minute after takeoff, I found that 2 109s is making a lot of trouble to a flight of lightning just ahead of me. Let's help them! I picked one of them, and with some speed advantage I tried to get him in a turn fight. He didn't aware of me until it is too late (Target fixation is bad http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif) and I shot him up really bad, engine and control cable were gone http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Thought he was no more, but found that he was still flying ok... and killstealers were coming http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif I checked quickly, seem there were no more bandits around, so I took the risk, and turn back into him again. When I arried two lightning is already there, but I was faster and more agile, I BnZ him once more, more damage but still flying, finally I blow him up completely by giving him a 5 second burst in a tight turn (the derbis barely missed me, lol http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif)

Spotted another 109, but before I can shoot, he crashed without apparent reason (because he saw me coming? lol of course not, I am not Sir Robin the UberAces in a Mustang lol http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif)...but before I finished my laughing, the game kicked me out, I guess it is network problem (ping over 300).... anyway, It is already an execllent day on WarCloud, and the score is 4-1 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

another 3 hours in Warcloud, wow I am really exhuasted now http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_redface.gif

The score is 7-1, very good sorties indeed, but if I am a little bit luckier I should have 2 more kills (it is a He111 and his 190D escort, they are both crippled when the mission ended), but anyway http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

In this 7 kills 4 of them ibvolved a turn fight. Seem that I have finally unlocked the turning ability of a Mustang! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/heart.gif The trick is to turn at a high speed, and not to turn more than 90 degrees. Within this 90 degrees seem nothing can beat a Mustang http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif, but that advantage is very short-lived, so I need to position my run absolutely right, and place my shooting windows inside this 90 degrees... It is not easy, but Shaw's book provided all the bell and whistie I need http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

one of the kill is extremely funny, see the thread here (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=400102&f=23110283&m=3411083152) I didn't feel sorry of this guy, vulucter really desevre such a sad ending http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif

The last kill is an epic. It is a dogfight between me and the members of JV44, AFAIK they are really good pilots. I started the fight by bouncing one of there 190D. Got him but seem not serious. BnZ him one more, and this time got his engine and control cable. Surprisingly he tried to escape by zooming up, it was indeed a bad choice as I have much more energy than he had. I got him in the top of the zoom, black smoke from engine, he was no more http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

not yet finished my smile, I heard someone was zooming by fast. I looked backward, and spotted another guy from JV44 on my six! It was so close that I could see his nickname.... Apparently he followed us up, and more apparently it was a team play at work !!! I tried to dive down immediately, but it was too late, one shot instant death. I exchanged some words with these two JV44 guys, and seem all of us are happy with this fight http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Continue my adventure today... but seem sunday isn't a good day for online Dogfight... basically the game was very laggy, and latency was unacceptable, I couldn't see any hit even I am shooting someone who have filled up my windscreen.

The score is a lame 2-2.... mainly because I have ran out my patience.... one death was I BnZ too hazely, when I come down and shoot he go striaght up.... I hit him in the engine and pull out, but somehow the game think I collided with him and I lost one wing becuase of it.... and my enemy seem to be fine and flied home.... the second death is also due to a bad bounce, too close to the ground and too fast, tried to pull out but my wing given up before I succeed.... noob death, I must admit... besides death I have made several other bad runs, which end up putting myself in a disadv position, and need to disengage.

Hope monday will be a better day! Tmr will be the end of my first week of my online adventure, I will round myself up and see what I have learned and accomplished.

One week flied past so quickly. To round up a whole week of intensive training, I did the most intensive one of them all, flying 8 hours in total!!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif (don't tell my boss http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif)

All mileage were recorded on Warclouds WF. The Final score is 10-3. Finally reach my target of 10 kills in one day (although my work rate is way too low, need 30 minutes to rack up one kill http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_redface.gif).

And all those death happened on that small icey map.... basically it doesn't suit mustang at all, all combats occur under 5000 ft, and all of them are messy furball involving at least 5 planes. It is very difficult getting involved in a furball like this without geting yourself dirty...

But nonetheless there was a memorible sorties in this map. I got a 109 at tree top, he was smoking badly, as good as dead. I left him and headed for alt, when a 190 came in. I didn't wanna messing up with him, so I tried to disengage.... but he insist. At that very moment I got hitted by AAA, and my engine started smoking... This mean I won't be able to outrun him anymore.

I have no choice but to gamble everything... Knowing mustang is a better turner than a 190, I deployed full flaps and turn as tightly as I could.... he followed, and Soon I was on his six. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif I was barely in range, but I shot for 5 seconds to try to scare the he11 out of him.... This worked, he forget about everything and went on a steep climb. I pick this moment to spit-sed away....

I was deep inside ET, and it was a long way back home... It was the most heart-stopping 10 minutes I endured in this game, several close calls.... finally I make it back home, what a great escape! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Back into high Alt action in the next mission, and I am back to my usual self. One sorties is particularly successful. I just took off, and a 109 bounced me. He barely missed in this first attempt, but I was sure he would insist. A moment later, he dived down again... I was at tree top and nowhere to go. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif

At this time I gambled again. When he arrived, I cut my throttle, deployed full flaps, and performed a double break. I saw him soared by.... I succeed!!! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif I shot at him immediately, but I missed, what a opportunity!!! I know I can do better ... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif but anyway, I saved myself from being toasted, I should be happy enough. As he climbed away I spit-sed and disengage.

But the danger was still there, he was right on top of me now and surely he would try again. But at this time, a fellow mustang came in and bounced him from nowhere... Instant kill, woohoo!! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

together with his pilot (Mikke) we flied to the frontline. I spotted a 109 ahead, and dived on him. I hit him, but that was not very serious. I overshot him, and now he was on my six.... but I have no fear, because Mikke was with me. I typed him a message: "I will be the bait"... but I chose the wrong channel -- ALL http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/34.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

He immediately broke away, but this didn't do any harm, Mikke was already on his six. He pulled the bad guy out of his enevople, then I came in for a kill, got him in a high deflection shot. Job well done.

And this was my last kill of the week. To conclude, I think I am doing not bad... 10 years of simming (since SWOTL) definititely gave me a headstart. There are several questions in my mind (in this (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=400102&f=23110283&m=5391023252)thread), but I am sure experts in this forum will provide helps for me.

In the next week I will try to fly those birds in blue, the best way to beat them is to fly them and understand them... I have particularly interested in 109, seem the majority of my death are done by them...

However, Mustang would remain as my favorite ride, it brings me kills, and bring me back home after I messed thing up really bad.. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif
