Completely agree, AC1 is also visually stunning but just comes alive in 3D. Its a completely different gaming experience, the jump/puzzle sequences will give you goose bumps as you climb to new heights! Seriously if you're scared of heights don't use 3D Vision...or at least don't look down. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Only negative aspect is the low frame rates at times, this is not just a problem with 3D Vision, its due to the Scimitar engine's poor CPU scaling and heavy reliance on a single core. Low frame rates are just exacerbated in 3D however.

Is this something just unique to PC users?

Right now, yes, its limited to the PC and Nvidia hardware specifically. But the PS3 and 360 are both looking at 3D in the future, PS3 and Sony more seriously than MS I think.

Problem is 3D is incredibly hardware intensive and expensive right now. You need special 3D-ready displays and also 3D glasses....not the cheap Super Bowl red/blue ones or even the polarized ones at Imax/Real3D movies. Wireless shutter glasses that cost $200 each.

Cheapest way to check it out is to get an LCD/glasses bundle for as little as $400 or so....price goes up to $700 for a 1080p version from Alienware. Again, on the PC right now you also need a fast Nvidia GPU solution, I recommend at least a GTX 200 card, or better yet, SLI, or a single card of their new GTX 400 series.
