Hi everyone. This is my first post here. I have done an extensive search online and cannot find the answer to my question.

How does one, in IL2, run a mission strictly as a tailgunner?

If you could point me to a link or post I would really appreciate it.

And thanks for putting up with a noob if this seems rather obvious to some of you.

You could start the mission as normal, then at some point press C to change places from pilot to rear gunner. The plane will then fly on autopilot. I don't know if it'll try and complete the mission itself, however.

¿€¯ *, ¿€¯ *, µ³ ¿* €ç€ *.

(You will need the Korean character set to view this sig.)

you may have to use Shift-A to turn the autopilot on so you don't stay in control of the aircraft when you switch positions.
