View Full Version : Who is the worst pilot you've seen online? LOL

XyZspineZyX

You may include pilots from DF servers, VOW, VEF or wherever else you've seen them.

I would exclude the totally newbies, meaning that you must have seen this guy some times before you decide that he is the worst you've ever met.

Any special stories showing how bad he is will be highly appreciated!

heh,

theres this guy I have seen quite a few times called Crazy Bovine. You just need to shoot in his general direction and he will stall and start flapping about the skies before ploughing into the mud.

Great fun to watch.

And gets my vote as the worst pilot ever.

Guys, I know this might be funny, but naming people isn't fair on a forum board. These people might be total noobs who can't fly, but I was one once. If I was reading this and saw my name come up, I wouldn't be too eager to get back online.

that LA pilot i shot down in a me-110G flying on external view - after manouvering with him for a few minutes i got a clean tracking shot from dead 6 blowing his plane to smitherines. i said "S!http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif" and he left the game http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

hehe maby it was not the worst of pilots ... but at least a little short-tempered ... hehehehe

XyZspineZyX

I can`t remember his name.. but he proclaimed himself as an Ace in several Servers... So I invited him in a one vs one - he shot bad - I killed him three in a row - two times by only following him, without firing a shot - he just stalled all the time.. Then he said I am an "censored" and he would ownz me everytime, if he had externals and padlock.. well we did it with externals and pl and he got killed again..

well that was a clean 6:0 and I am a bad Pilot myself..

Hi,

I saw this guy called NorrisMcwhirter, the other day. He was all over the place and even managed to shoot up his wingman (sorry, Legion Condor), although he did manage to down a couple of planes (TB3 and something else)

Still, it was a good laugh and there is only room to improve

;-)

Cheers,
Norris

At the start of WW2 the German army lacked experienced anti-aircraft gunners. The average gunner was so bad that the USSR decided to help them out. They did it by forcing some of their pilots to fly I-153 flak magnets. These planes were slow but very sturdy. This allowed German anti-aircraft gunners to get a large amount of target practice on a relatively small number of planes. Thanks to the Soviets help, by the end of the war the German anti-aircraft gunners were amoung the best in the world.</center>

You are all wrong, I am and can prove it....

1. Cosistantly stalled Hurricains in version 1.0

2. Have never been able to get a ME262 off the ground without exploding my engines.

3. Will work for 15+ minutes to get a plane to 5km, only to dive on an enemy at 1,000m, naturally losing all my control surfaces before I torpedo into the ground.

4. Am consistantly a 1 bullet kill when flying in an IL2, rear gunner or no.

5. Seem to only remember to bail out when at 50m.or lower.

6. Have I153s catch up to me and then pass me after laying to waste the FW190 D i'm flying.

7. Have mastered the skill of diving on an opponent and over shooting him to get on his 12, unfortunately my 6 pointed at him.

8. WHen evading in clouds always forget to check my horizon and roll indicators Altimiter be darned but am reminded as I slam into the earth.

9. Always seem to land or take off on the same strip in opposite directions of another friendly player doing the same.

10. Consistantly forget to check my 12 when taking off, even with no cockpit or external views enabled wiping out 3/4s of my flight before we even roll.

Nothing to fear from me when I fly, unless you are on the same side, beat that. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Oh lord, get a life. You can say I suck if you want, I'd laugh and probably agree. It's not disrespectful to someone to say he's the worst pilot you've seen. I've told full scale pilots to their face they are the worst I've ever seen.

I dunno about "worst" I've seen some unlearned pilots where were simply trying they don't rate as bad.

I'd have to say the guy I watched online dive on a ship in a Stuka and obviously forgot to deploy his dive brakes.

Every take-off is optional, but every landing is mandatory!

XyZspineZyX
10-01-2003, 01:40 AM
To me the "worst" pilots are not those who fly badly, but those who have a bad attitude. I mean those who have it in their head that they're so darn good at the game that when they get downed or are forced into a panic spin, they actually get genuinely angry with you.

I had one of those encounters today - I won't name names but he's been mentioned previously in this thread. After dying a few times for different reasons (turnfighting my P39 in a K4, colliding with me from behind etc) he got so mad I actually had to leave the game on my own accord because I felt this guy hated me so much!! Call me a big softie, but I thought why ruin his day completely?

Bad Mojo dude, you knows who you are. Take a vacation or read a book, just don't let this computer game ruin your life!

XyZspineZyX
10-01-2003, 07:48 AM
bailout is pretty bad. Sometimes he slows down in front of me on the take off roll and makes me crash into him. Other times he crashes into me when we're flying formation and blames it on his joystick. Says he'll be able to fly a lot better once he gets his Nostromo2.

XyZspineZyX
10-01-2003, 07:55 AM
It's sad to name other people's names in this thread. YOu might not be offended by it, but other people will be. This is bad mojo for the game.

Hey, I thought I would get more penetrating power for my bombs that way!

And people, lighten up. This thread was obviously just started in jest of all the "who be da bestest pilot of dem all!?" posts... and if you don't like saying names, then don't. Describe some funny/lethal/terrible noob mistakes that you have seen online, that is both fun and educating to read.

For example: just last night I saw a guy in a P-39 vulching our airfield. Trying to take off myself, I saw him blast the field several times with all his weapons and hitting nothing but grass. After making one of his passes, he noticed me and started to do a low, slow turn towards me, just few meters above the ground. He was just about to complete his turn and start firing on me... when he suddenly collided with the field's fuel tanks, less than 100 meters from me. I watched the screen in amazement for a few seconds and then had to cut the throttle because I was laughing too hard to take off.

Ooh... That would be yours truly:

It was one of the first times I tried a Full Real Coop, and we started out on the strip.

So I sat there, looking at my cockpit blocking the forward view, while waiting for the guy in front of me to take off, not knowing that I could simply turn my plane slightly to one of the sides, and look out of the side window to get a clear view. I got impatient after a while, and as I saw one of the others take off, I thought: "Well; that has to be the one in front of me, so I'm gonna take off now..."

...And I crashed directly into the plane waiting in front of me...
I then took a lot of (understandably) angry flak in the chat from the guy I rammed, and before I quit I wrote: "Yeah; screw you too, "expert"!"...
I did'nt even try to apologise for my idiocy, and behaved like a complete jerk.

/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

That was a very embarassing moment, and if the one I rammed should happen to be cruising these boards, and remember the incident, you have my sincere apology for my childish behaviour.

Firstly, I am really enjoying these funny antidotes from more experienced gamers (we're not pilots, although I believe there are some who are both).

I can clearly sense that folks here are not being mean-spirited to anyone except themselves. Please don't lock this thread; if we can't make fun of each other then we are taking ourselves and this game too seriously in my opinion.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

As a newb, I have only been online several times. However, one of my stories is that while I was waiting for a game to be setup in HL, a group of players from a squad invited me to play. I told them that I was new and didn't want to slow them down. They insisted and I eventually joined (supposing that they just wanted some fresh meat!).

Then on the airstrip I watched them taking-off; a couple of them were all over the place and had a really rough take-off; I sent a lol message to them and said I felt right at home /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

But before any thinks highly of me (outside my mother), in another game a very good pilot kept shooting me down, despite sending a variety of different planes at him. I was happy just to prolong our dogfight in my Canadian (skinned) P-39; and then I thought I could get even by sending the "flying tank" - IL-2 (with rear gunner) at him. He enjoyed taking me down again /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif Yes, he's my Daddy /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

OK, I just remembered the funniest guy I've ever seen!

He was behind one of my mates but still to far to get him on time. I was running as much as I could but it was obvious that within the next couple of seconds he would blow my wingman. So I decided to fire a couple of shots with my MG's from that far away, just to scare him.

And what did he do?

Imagine.

Just imagine...

He BAILED!

He just saw a couple of tracers (I didn't hit him for sure) and he bailed!

I don't think I've ever witnessed something funniest /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

He allways takes G2 with gunpods (cuz he can't hit anything with the default armament) and goes camping somewhere high above the enemy field just outside of the enemy flak reach.

Then he tries to dive on an enemy who is just getting his gear in, but usually just fly past him at 750 km/h, blacks out and thubles to the ground.

LoL! It's so funny to look at.

Then if he gets really lucky he may get himself to someones six. Firing like hell he closes on to his enemy, without hitting once, ofcourse, and only when he is really close to the other guy he starts to think which way to dodge. His thinking goes something like this:

"Hmmm... that thingy is becomin really big there. Really really big.
Maybe I should just pull up. No, wait I'll just push down. Yeah. Down.
Just one shot and then i'll leave him. GOD! It's REALLY close. Mmmm... One shot...There. And there. Damn can't hit him. Those TB-3's are just über turnfighters.
OK now I think I really should dodge.
Ummm... left or right? Such a vicious question..."

...and BOOOOooooMMMM!

He just can't decide and ramms the poor guy in the bomber!!!

Now this guy is really a nuisance!

Ya, right... I saw him once... that was really funny... he took a MiG-3ud there... I was jsut spinning up my Il-2's engine, then driving down the taxiway when a P.11 crashed into me. Two craters there, through which the "Creator of Il-2 FB" himself drove through then /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif . He just came in and wrecked his MiG before he could get up /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif .

But I also saw a guy some time who just wasn't able to take off... he tried it at least 15 times and everytime he crashed on TO. I just thought... come on, give him some bullets, so easy to get some kills there, he can't get up anyways /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

I don't remember individual pilots who suck because they are just blips on the radar.

But I do notice that the worst pilots can be found in full real servers.

yeah namin folks may be not the best thing

there was a time when all I did was fly and die, quick stalls, bad moves, blackouts, etc.

Not that I am much better but I dont stall as much

If it wasnt for a good pilot in here helping me out a long time ago I would have gave up on this game.

Any one who has ever found my six knows a quik burst is all it takes to fill my relief tube and send me RTB.

Some days I get online and I'm unstopable, 7 kills on one tank of gas, some days I get my shoe laces caught in the rudder pedels....and, well...you know what I mean.

Well then I'm worse than Billfish cause she's shot me down a few times. So, don't even waste the energy on the keyboard sweetheart! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Other than that the worst out there is a guy named Diminutive Equine who really stinks.

Well, the worst pilot is always me. I always find something to improve and I'm still trying to master ALL planes in IL2FB /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

On the other hand, I hate those heroes exiting the game, if you settle on their six. I just got this 2 times in a row on the same server.... No, I wont give names, but they were both squaddies. Not a good advertisement =/
