Attention all mudmovers, I need a little help with the bombsite.

Specifically what do you use the adjust sight to right and left controls do. When do you use them??

Thanks all

There several awesome bombing tutorials over at www.airwarfare.com (http://www.airwarfare.com)

You can also download a few tracks from there that you can watch, and see how they do it.

That's how i learned, and its all about practice practice practice...

Although i find in the QMB, you start TOO close to the target to set up properly...

Try making a mission in FMB. Start in the air, at 3000 m, and add a waypoint straight to your target, far enough to allow you to set up the bombsight.

Notice that their are different bombsights in the game - the german (he111 and ju88) - my personal fave

the b25's bombsight - kind of like the german, (but it has miles/h and feet instead of km/h and meters)

the TB3's bombsight

the pe2s bombsight which is very different in the way it works, but is also very fun ! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

(ive forgotten some havent i?)

The left and right are used to compensate for wind. I've never used them and I don't miss. I think they are pretty much useless in IL2. Mostly there to simulate ALL the features in a real bombsight.
