Sorry, but no, I've never seen this, and I fly both with and against 109's quite often!

If you look VERY carefully you will notice the quality of the Bf109s Lods are nowhere near the quality of other aircraft (Spit, Hurri, Fw190, P51 etc) I have played Il2 on a variety of machines and settings and it never improves.

Set up a quick test with 109 E4 and watch a flyby, notice the way the aircraft changes shape http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Thought so !

It is a BIG deal when you have problems spotting any other aircraft in the sky and have to get real close to identify it before you realise its friend or foe http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif OHH ...but.... yes read on....

not with the Bf109s!!!!!!, its really easy to spot 109s because their LoDs and poor mipmapping stick out so much in the virtual IL2 sky its blatant discrimination against this little fighter!!!!!!

Anyone who flies 109s online (HL) also stick out like a Pig in a Bar Mitzvah!!!

Now please, don't tell me nobody has ever noticed this?

Don't take my word for it, fly a 109 and notice its shape shifting qualities at relativly short distances or click on the link I provided for other peoples views http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Its got to be either solved through model distance LoD settings extended or new 109 Lod models! The latter has no chance but at least I tried http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
