I can't seem to get the movie to work with Quick time video ( it shows a torn Quick timeicon each time I try to get download to play..)& am having no luck downloading Codecs fix ( or whatever it is) - it won't install due to "lack of corerect files..." can anyone put it in a format i can see? Never had this sort of problem before.... Perhaps post a few screen shots? Thanks!

Sorry Jim, I can't help. I avoid ALL Quicktime movies like the Plague! It's an archaic format, and downloading the player always messes with my setups for movies, etc... I don't understand why anyone uses it. Also, I've never found an Application that will reliably convert from *.mov to *.avi or *.Wmv formats.

I can encode the movie in xvid if you want.

Download this file and install it, it will add the latest codecs for vide viewing.

I 've downloaded this successfully , but when I try video I still get Quick time ( broken) icon on screen ...must I disable this somehow...really confused . Also the mpeg2codec patch suggested still refuses to install...What is going on???

If Oleg could encode the next movie in xvid or divx and disable sound it will be fine. Less web space, less bandwitch and better compatibility.

The movie(9.60Mb) (http://h.ds.free.fr/videos/SpitfireMKI.avi) xvid

Got it - watched it -WOW! Many thanks for your help....It is hard to believe that this resolution is possible! It doesn't seem that long ago that I was happy with the crtoon guages in the Lucasart 's Battle of Britain...now ( in a year ..give or take,) this! Unbelievable!!!
