Yes. There is only a couple of seconds of footage of that. It looks amazing though. It's a pity you only see it on a monitor/screen though.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

The ground looks REAL!! Even in a blurred rip from a screen.

The Screenshot and movie guys are going to be able to make such real shots now.

Thanks Major!<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Ironically, as I opened this thread I'm annoying my neighbors with loud music. I'm listening to "Immer am Limit".

Oleg has done it again. Those pics are simply sweet and my faith has been restored. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/inlove.gif

The static electricity from my monitor feels funny on the tongue. Note to self: dust screen before licking. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

Get 30+A/C in the air and its going to be a slideshow on any PC (except the exceptional few right now).

The PC to run this flatout with options maxed out hasn't been built yet.

Min spec: Quad CPU 3G+, 8G ram, 400GB HD (for game only), stable version of MS Vista with Direct X 10 compliant H/ware.

Ahhhh.....I'll start saving

Oh man that looks awesome, the waves crashing on the shoreline in the first few pics are friggin nuts too!

It looks like it will be a bit heavy on the old 'puter, but i think that the experience that wsa gained from IL2 and how its constructed will allow for this to run well on a lot more systems than we all think.

I just hope that its not going to be another "FSX" type of program where there are a handfull who can run it.. it looks like somethin that if you like IL2, you will love this...<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Ok, so it looks nice but does it have the important stuff:

1)FM
2)FM
...
...
9)FM
10) Better graphics than PF

So number 10 looks good. What about 1-9?

PS: Stick DM model in there too somewhere http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

One of the first things I'll do is the same thing I did in my first flight in Rowan's BoB:

Get to about Angels 10 in a Spit then shove the nose down. If the engine doesn't cut then the game doesn't either.

Rowan's did and I was impressed ... just my computer back then couldn't cope.

I see a Hurricane flying up-side down with a carburated engine that is still running. Doesn't look good.

However, everything else does. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

OK. I now think the inverted pic was just one stage of a aileron roll, which if done quickly enough would just cause a sputter.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

As long as he is pulling positive G, the engine will still be running. That Hurri could just have rolled over inverted and be about to pull down, or be at the top of a loop. It would only be bad if he was flying level (with the stick forward, of course) upside down

That fifth screenshot showing the Cliffs of Dover confirms in my mind that BOB will be totally awesome. You can't have the Battle of Britain without rendering the Cliffs properly. By the way the later shots of the cliffs will not be how they are rendered in the final BOB.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Actually, either positive or negative G's will cause a carburated engine to stall. If I remember correctly positive G's flood the engine, but I know negative G's starve the engine.

You have to maintain normal G. However, read my 2nd post made moments after the the first. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

You read alot into a screenshot thats impossible to tell what the engine is doing.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Read 2nd post.

But, you are correct: Just because the prop is spinning doesn't mean the engine's running. It just made me suspicious is all. Have to wait 'til I have the game to be sure.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
