Looks like it was painted this way for a reason, do you know why?

Probably a captured Zeke just after the war. The Japs painted green (I think) crosses on planes to indicate they were non-hostile.

negative! thats one of the zeroes in the surrender delegation, notice the cross under the right wing?
those where green, the fuselage was white.

I dont have any other information on it. All it said, where ever I got it from, was that it was the surender paint.....the same as the Betty bombersd that the delagates where in.
